second time staying here, and the experience was as good as the first one. Dinner was great, and we had the lamb as the main course. Very generous and delicious breakfast as well. The view of the garden and river from the dining room is lovely, and creates a very serene atmosphere. I also enjoyed walking alongside the river bank and the garden with my family. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will try to go there again some other time.
Close to the village but far enough away to be quiet. Good shower room and separate toilet on the ground floor. Very good food and views over the river.
It’s a beautiful building in a fabulous location within walking distance of the village with good parking and walks with a lovely river where you can see ducks, fish, a squirrel and sometimes a fox in the garden.
Nothing
The hotel grounds are amazing staff are very helpful
I wasn't impressed with the cooked breakfast it was quite small the pot of beans where tiny the sausage was very small but it was cooked well..
The location was great, it's walkable to the town. It sits right on the river with great views from the dining area and has a walkable garden. The breakfast has good (small) buffet selection but a solid menu choice. The staff was super helpful and friendly - highly recommend. Big bathroom and good history behind the place. Definitely book early and plan to stay here.
We stayed in Room 6 and the bed was a bit small; I had to actually moved and slept on the floor. And the internet speed was very slow - too slow to do any work (emails) let alone using it for any streaming.
Excellent staff, location, food, drink - cannot fault, perfect hotel!!!!
Riverside location is good, walkable to town.
Restaurant stops @ 8pm.
Breakfast starts @8am.
Drives very congested days.
The location is stunning, under 5 mins from village, very quiet hotel, food was fantastic slightly more expensive then standard but never a bad meal so worth it and staff were lovely
No complaints
Very good location
Super ontbijt! En enorm vriendelijk personeel
Geen ijskastje op de kamer
The location was stunning. The staff made us feel very welcome. Dinner excellent. They had a good choice of wines available.
Probably the only negative thing was the breakfast. However, I understand it it difficult to cater for particular dietary requirements.
The breakfast.
Quality of the television.
Restaurant serves world class Michelin level cusine
Location is very conveniently close to the railway station and the twon
TVs in the room don’t have any smart tv apps options
