Must visit in Wales. Very serene and calm location. Amazing staff. Will come back
The views from the lodge were brilliant. Close to everything. Lovely staff and would love to go back there again.
Nothing.
The location is beautiful. Staff are wonderful. Claris our waitress was so kind.
Lovely outside bar overlooking the water.
Lighting in our room, no lamps apart from stark reading lamp.
Food on Sunday night was very average and we were rushed through 3 courses in an hour. The restaurant was empty by 8.15.
Furniture in bar very old fashioned.
Spectacular views, very peaceful. Lovely staff. Beautiful lodge
The shower could have used more water pressure
Location and staff are excellent
It was clean
Layout of the rooms was poor, meaning very limited space. On arrival we were informed it was not possible to eat in house as they can only accommodate 20 meals per evening and it was booked out. No alternative in-house dining was suggested. The staff suggested we go to some other venues in town but it took three attempts to fund one that serves food on a Tuesday. The double bed was tiny, and poor quality mattress on a box base. Every movement by one person was felt by another. For the price we paid, all other hotels in nearby towns were much better.
Everything was very good
The shower tap needed repair and the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. The bedding was a bit heavy kept waking up as was too hot
We were renting lodge with riverside view and terrace, and this place was one of the best hotels we've been so far in the UK. It was very quite, personnel was amazing and responsive, food was on another level. We didn't find better place for breakfast or dinner rather than this place. I especially liked how close this place is to nature - it's located just on the shore of the river, so we could seat on the terrace and watch birds. They also have a lovely garden, sheeps, so we literally got a good rest just being there surrounded by nature. Our lodge looked like recently renovated, everything was clean and spot on.
I hope to stay at this place again in the feature.
Food prices are comparable with London, e.g. 2 dinner course per person was £55, 3 course £65. The portions are decent though, the food was great, can't really complain.
Hotel was lovely, staff were excellent, location is stunning.
Very friendly small family hotel
At the edge of Betws-y-Coed next to a river - lovely views
Absolutely stunning hidden gem here. Planned an Afternoon Tea following a planned activity whilst in Wales for the day. The lady was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We sat on the terrace to eat, then sat in the sun to enjoy the view with our drinks. Will definitely be returning to stay.
