Very friendly small family hotel
At the edge of Betws-y-Coed next to a river - lovely views
Absolutely stunning hidden gem here. Planned an Afternoon Tea following a planned activity whilst in Wales for the day. The lady was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We sat on the terrace to eat, then sat in the sun to enjoy the view with our drinks. Will definitely be returning to stay.
Location was perfection
A lovely friendly welcoming hotel in a beautifully setting
Bedroom was very hot
Loved the grounds and the location on the riverside - so beautiful and peaceful. Our lodge and hotel were both clean and had everything you need for your stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming to us and our dog.
The only thing I would suggest is that the lodges have enclosed verandas (gate to enter) so that anyone staying with dogs can safely let the dog off the lead.
The welcome received from the staff at the hotel was first rate - very friendly and helpful! The meal we had in the evening was excellent quality and very tasty. Breakfast was standard.
The bedroom we had was rather small - although we appreciate we booked last minute (on the day!) and did get a fair discount
The peacefulness of the lodge, the iconic river view, you couldn't get much closer.
The convenience of the hotel breakfast and the friendliness of the staff all helped to make it a wonderful stay.
Nothing - loved it
The location was lovely
It just wasn't for us, room was very small, very hot and the smell wasn't great, I don't know if it was dog but I just couldn't stay. The whole area we walked through was very dated. We left, unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable there. I don't know how they have scored such high reviews, very confused. The people seemed very nice and friendly.
Wish I had a wee bit more time to checkout but no big deal whatsoever
