Best Western Mangga Dua Hotel and Residence

Inconvenient area, need transport and breakfast is subpar. Price is what you pay.
Need to request things that are normally there.
Staff is great for the most part. Room is clean is not an option so put away valuables.

ホテルは高層階にあるので、夜景もきれい、見晴らし抜群。
公共交通機関は近くになく、歩くと遠い。
グラブで行くならどこも便利、安く行ける。
周りは屋台がいっぱいあって便利。
屋台苦手なら、食堂を探すのは大変かも。
朝食はどれも美味しい。
インドネシアは美味しいコーヒーが飲めるし、朝食バイキングのインドネシア料理のクオリティがどこも高いから朝食付きにするべし。
スタッフもフレンドリーでよかった。

The facilities and location are just right for me. There are a few things that bother me, but they are very minor. The staff are very kind.
The food is also delicious, so you won't have any trouble with breakfast.

This hotel used to be Best Western franchise many many years ago and now its just Mangga Dua Hotel. Its a very rundown hotel which needs major renovation. There is no minibar in the room nor is there bar in the property. The restaurant food has no healthy choice. Breakfast is so-so except for the egg omelet. There is no eatery nearby and there are many other good hotels for the same price. Hotels.com should not advertise Best Western to this Hotel as it is no longer a Best Western chain anymore. It's just a local hotel

スタッフはフレンドリーで親切です。
全体的に施設は綺麗です。
プールやフィットネスの設備もあるのでホテルで過ごすのも退屈ではないです。

ところどころ設備の古さのメンテナンスが行き届いていないところもあるので，そこが改善されるとなおいいですね。

After a 28-hour flight, the warmth of Best Western Mangga Dua instantly erased my exhaustion. From the gatekeeper’s welcome to the bellman’s gracious help, every moment felt special.

The true highlight was DEDE at the front desk. Recognizing my stay from 10 years ago, he welcomed me like family, upgraded my room to a suite, and sent fresh fruits—an incredibly thoughtful touch. His kindness continued throughout my stay, always ensuring my comfort.

Beyond DEDE, every staff member, from housekeeping to the breakfast team, provided one-on-one service with genuine warmth—never expecting tips, only focused on guest satisfaction.

I’ve traveled extensively, but I’ve never experienced such heartfelt hospitality. If this is how Best Western Mangga Dua treats its guests, I don’t just want to visit again—I’d love to live here!

Hotel datato, camera vecchia, con muri da ritinteggiare. Tende da cambiare. Bagno decente con una buona illuminazione. Impianto di aria condizionata buono. Camera abbastanza spaziosa. Letto comodo e lenzuola e cuscini puliti e comodi. Salviette da sostituire. Piscina moderna.

前回良かったので使用しました。
スタッフやサービスは満足です。
スタッフはフレンドリーで初日いくつか設備の不具合がありましたが、すぐに対応してくれました。

ネガティブなところはちょっと設備が古いところです。
機会があればまた利用したいです。

Nice hotel in a good location in Mangga Dua.

The hotel is looking a little dated but actually there was renovation work going on.

The price was good and included an excellent buffet breakfast.


The staff were all very helpful and incredibly friendly!

Sauber aber nicht luxuriös

スタッフは皆親切です。朝食も美味しく、毎日提供されます。全体的に満足です。正直に言うと、設備が少し古い部分もあります。 （シャワーの出が悪い場合があります。エレベーターがなかなか来ない場合もあります。）そこが改善されたら、完璧です。

隣の音がかなり聞こえた。

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen & weist entsprechende Abnutzungserscheinungen auf. Alles ist funktionstüchtig, sieht einfach nicht mehr neu und makellos aus. Zimmertüre, Schloss & Riegel können schon mal klemmen.

Balkonfester wurde verriegelt, ebenso ein Eckfenster (zugemauert), angeblich eine Sicherheitsmassnahme.

Frühstücksbuffet mit grossem Angebot von Continental, American & local breakfast. Qualitativ ist nur das lokale Angebot überzeugend & authentisch.
Im Frühstücksraum viele & aggressive Stechmücken.

2 von 4 Aufzügen benützbar, andere sind für Anwohner (Gebäude beherbergt auch Wohnungen) uns Service reserviert. Gewisse Stockwerke sind nur mit einem bestimmten Lift zugänglich. Insgesamt ist das System kompliziert, es kommt ab & an zu längeren Wartezeiten.

Spa-Bereich ist seit Wiederinbetriebnahme nach Covid-19 im Mai noch immer geschlossen (ausser Schwimmbad) darauf wurde aber nirgends hingewiesen.

Good hotel ,with friendly staff. Clean and good value of money, cheap compared with other hotels.
Only the breakfast needed to improve.

Come back after couple month , the overall environment is okay , here are some disappointed point need to improve :
Too long waiting for elevator , room 3011 bed sheet dirty & smelly , many small cockroach , please improve .

Service was wonderful. In room TV had technical issue and was replaced quickly but there shouldn't be an issue to begin with. 110V plug in the bathroom doesn't work so I cannot use my hair straightener. Key card stopped working couple times and had to be renewed. A little bit time consuming especially when you have to go back down to the lobby from 28th floor. Wifi is quite fast and I didn't have to log back in every day which is a plus. However, everyone was friendly and we ended up extending our stay for another 3 days.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere

The service itself was great. Just when my brother checked out, they needed my credit card again which was a bothersome. I never had to use my credit card for checking out.
Other then that, they upgrade the rooms so the rooms were huge and breakfast was great.

Good service , walking distance to nearby Mangga 2 Square. In dooor swimming is good enough after a long day can relax nearby pool. Spa massage is a good experience that you must try out.
