We enjoyed our stay. When checking in, we got an upgrade to a room with a spa bath. We also enjoyed our dinners, and the buffet breakfast is amazing.
The only thing we didn't like was, that during dinner time (17:00 until approx. 21:30) there are still many business meetings happening in the dining area. They occupy dining room tables, and we noticed that they mainly ordered (alcoholic) drinks. As time went on, and another round of drinks had been ordered, they became very passionate about the topic that they were discussing, becoming very loud This got in the way of having our own conversations. This happened both times during our dinner at De Witte Bergen, with a table allocated to us by staff. Maybe if there are business meetings planned around dinner time, staff could offer another area (such as the breakfast area which seems not to be used during the day/dinner time). It would also mean that they could talk confidential, as we could hear word for word what they were loudly discussing at the table or via WhatsApp with other partners.
De ligging
Ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Verouderde kamer met slecht onderhouden badkamer. Handdouche in bad.
Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker en het personeel was heel vriendelijk. De kamers werden dagelijks gereinigd en de handdoeken werden dagelijks gewisseld.
De matrassen van de bedden verschoven tijdens de nacht en ook het dekbed was niet comfortabel. De douches zijn veel te klein.
Ik bleef met mijn zoontje (12) omdat we thuis ernstige bouw overlast van de buren hadden. Puur gekozen op locatie dicht bij school. Het verblijf overtrof elke verwachting. De kamer met bubbelbad was ruim, schoon en erg comfortabel. Ontbijt buffet is erg uitgebreid en eten in het restaurant was erg goed. Personeel van de schoonmaaksters tot de mensen in het restaurant en aan de balie, erg professioneel, vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We voelden ons echt tot rust komen in een heerlijke bubbel!
Als ik iets moet noemen was het 2x dat iemand van het personeel iets korter door de bocht was of bepaalde informatie niet wist, maar dat werd geluk goed gemaakt door iemand anders van het personeel! Dus alles is ons zeer bevallen
Spontane bediening in het restaurant
De prijs prestatie. 169 euro een maand geleden 89 euro. Fletscher is dus goedkoper. Was dan ook de laatste keer!!!
De kamer was groot, de badkamer luxe. Het was onze eerste verblijf in een Van der Valk hotel. Wat een "ontdekking"! Moeite waard de andere vestigingen ook bezoeken.
