Grand Tropic Suites Hotel

Location is good. Facilities is great. Food at the restaurant not to my taste. Issued only 1 card even if you come with family. Quite inconvenience. Other that that, all is good.

If you like to shop, great location between ciputra and central park malls. The apartments are cleaned regularly but furniture and interior/bathrooms was dated and a little dirty. Bedding and pillows great, cleaned daily. Great view of city. Wifi connectivity very poor, which the kids didn't like! Also, only one key for apartment for 5 people. Lots of pros and cons.

Good place for family vacation. Not far from the mall. Nice people they're friendly. I recommended. Im gonna go back again for my next vacation.

Stayed in the family suite. It is very old and need renovations. Photos do not represent what the rooms look like.

Bad

We have stayed here before, location is excellent, the condition of the room was disappointing, drapes were in our condition bathrooms had leaks, general confirm dates and in bed of just general maintenance. The beds though were comcast.net, and cooking facilities were very good. There was a store on site which was very well stocked, and reasonable.

I booked a one-room suite at this hotel because of the attractive price on Hotels.com and for its proximity to Central Park. In fairness, for the price, I do not expect a great deal. The room was dated and in need of some maintenance - the hot water mixer was difficult to adjust, and the lamp in the living room was not working. The bathroom came with the usual amenities, but there was precious little else - no hair dryer, no iron or ironing board, and although an electric kettle was provided, there were only two coffee cups but NO SPOONS.S

Service from the front desk was good, they were polite and helpful, as was the doorman.

What I do not find acceptable is that the hotel charges for every vehicle (including cabs and Grab) that enters - even to drop off or to pick up. This does not make sense. The amount was not large - Rp4000 - but it is a poor management decision.

Room service quality can be improved. Furniture in the apartment is dated. However, for the price you pay, its extremely good value.

I don't like the family suit..as I saw in the pic different..what I get different..the water smelly..below than my expectation..worse..

The hotel room is actually a former apartment minus the stove, which was a very good surprise. The pool area is the real draw as well as the easy walking access to the Central Park/Neo Soho mall superblock. The only bad thing was the bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows weren't comfortable as well.

Value for money

Rooms haven't been renovated in a while and maintenance has been pretty shoddy. Lots of small things that are just a bit off but the rooms have the basic necessities. Restaurant food is slightly below "ok" level but neither terrible nor great.
