Close to Casa Port and old Medina. The tram line outside does not goto Casa Voyageurs train station but walk one block up to the intersecting tram line which goes to the train station. There is a supermarket just before the tram lines meet. The fish market is to the right and walkable to centre following tram line. Traditional decor in room and welcome tea. No fridge in room. France, Spain tv channels. Good breakfast with fresh baked breads and traditional dishes
Me gustó la decoración del hotel.
Cerca de lugares como, La Medina y el restaurant de Rick para ir caminando.
Staff rude and simply fail to acknowledge you. Room grubby, old and tired. Tableclothes very dirty in breakfast area , as were our pillows.
Air con failed to work - asked for assistance, waited 25 mins whn promised 5 mins. Staff member came up and simply told me "it is working" when it wasnt. Overall terrible and not cheap.
Room & hotel very shabby. Towels grubby & torn. Air Con didn't work. Staff not helpful. Poor location - nothing nearby. Breakfast is not good value
The place is kind of scary. Not well lighted . There’s a distinct smell in the room . The people in the reception were ok .
Great location and comfortable hotel with lots of character and a varied breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice stay
Property outdated, smells bad, furniture is outdated and the card for the room takes too many times to work, we asked for iron they only have a laundry service, cost extra to use the safe
This is a great place to stay in Casablanca. It is traditionally decorated, the staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable and it is within easy walking distance from the Central Market, the medina and the port. There are also 2 tram stations very close by, as well as a supermarket.
An enjoyable experience
Good value, nice to have a welcome tea and treat. The reception area was very beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Basic but comfortable rooms. Very helpful front desk staff. A great location to get to the train for the airport and the tram, restaurants, and Medina.
For the price, this was a great hotel. Non smoking facility (just putting that in as it was unclear to me when I booked it). Bed really comfy, I slept so well.
Breakfast great, and the staff were absolutely lovely. Really nice hotel. Very close to Casa port train station so easy to get to and from airport, and two tram lines in a couple of minutes walk.
Friendly and helpful staff
Staff very friendly and accomodating. Gave accurate direction to sites of interest...
We stayed for one night before joining a tour as a pair of couples. We booked via booking.com. It was excellent value with friendly staff. I like the traditional feel and Moroccan decoration. It has a central location with atm around the corner. You could walk to the old town and Mosque; we were “accosted” by a taxi driver who offered us a 2 hour city tour which was excellent. The breakfast and central area was traditional and attractive. At first breakfast was hit and miss but staff were responsive and cooked an omelet. It’s all a little ramshackle and slightly dated but hey the price paid it was great. 5 star for feel and value.
As a surfer and a frequent traveler with my family, I can confidently say that my stay at this hotel, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. Their helpfulness and generosity truly set this hotel apart.
The artistic touches throughout the hotel and in our room were a delightful surprise. Each piece added character and charm, creating a unique atmosphere that we couldn't help but admire. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.
One of the biggest advantages of this location is its proximity to Casa Port station, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. We were surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and coffee shops, ensuring we never went hungry. Plus, the market, mosques, and other cultural sites were just a short stroll away, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture.
I genuinely believe that we found an unbeatable price for such a fantastic place to stay. Our days were packed with adventure, as we typically left every morning at 9 AM to go surfing and returned around midnight, eager to make the most of our time in this beautiful country. The blend of ancient history and modern architecture was awe-inspiring, and I encourage everyone to embrace the experience with an open mind and a kind heart.
if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place, this is the one
Very nice hotel, centraly located.Rooms are spacious and well maintained.Staff is nie and responsive. The biggest advantage of the hotel: breakfast with big variety of products.
Staff and service was good
We stayed two nights at the end of our tour.
We got a very spacious room on the 9th floor thanks to Chafik. The bed was comfortable with a good firm mattress. Air con kept the room comfortable and there were spare blankets.
Rainfall shower appeared to be new so maybe has been upgrades.
It had a very Moroccan décor . We have stayed more than once at the sister hotel in Marrakech.
Clean.
Lift rather slow.
Close proximity to major sites like the Central Market, the old medina, Rick's Cafe and the Mosque which can be toured by foreigners. We had a balcony with a view of the port.
Breakfast very good selection: Dates, olives, cheeses ,breads, beans ,cucumber etc.
The towels were really dirty.Very old, no well care property. Bad smell in the room. We asked the satf to come to low the temperature for air conditioning and they never come. However some people of staff were very king but very difficult to understand english or spanish. They offered us taxi service but they charged us the double of the amount. Even for low price you will regret to get this hotel.
