Nice rooms
Too far from local amenities
Had a great overnight stay at the hotel for two days at the park. Booked as part of stay and play.
I was a little worried from reading the other reviews but actually we had a great stay. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, dinner was fab (if a little expensive). The breakfast buffet was ok (some items just a little cold but it is a buffet).
Spotless hotel easy access to attractions comfy nights rest.
Great fresh breakfast. We all enjoyed our time there. Will go again soon
It’s very close to the theme park
Can’t fault it really
Went with Grandchildren they had a great time and I enjoyed the day. Prices could be a bit better.
The hotel itself is good. Rooms are clean and we had an interconnecting room. Check was easy and the staff really helpful. You get ride passes for each day to jump certain queues which is nice. The food is ok and reasonably priced as are the drinks in the bar. The park itself always brings back childhood memories. The staff are helfpul and always have a smile. The park however is starting to show wear and tear in places and a few of the big ticket rides were closed for both days. There were also alot of breakdowns and ride stoppages throughout the day. The food in the park was good and again the price point was ok although the drinks could be a little cheaper.
Overall if you are looking for an overnight stay and have children ranging from babies to early teens it is a good theme park and experience. Look out for booking offers on the website as this can bring the cost down further.
Room comfortable, although bathroom was a little tired. Bed very comfortable. Shower was good. Breakfast was OK.
Service in bar restaurant was totally appalling in the evening. Four of us dined. We ordered early when there was not many people in the bar area. One got their meal on their own. The next two meals came together with an identical meal third for the first one who had just finished it. My side order also came out ... but not my main meal. 3 chases for it to finally come out and I had to eat on my own as everyone else had long finished. Wasn't impressed with the meal either. They did recompense with apologies, money off and a round of drinks but it really should not have happened. Servers were wandering around with plates of hot food looking for people - no table numbers so little wonder it was in a right mess. Spoilt the evening from my perspective. Real shame.
We had a great stay at Drayton Manor. Our daughter enjoyed the meet and greet breakfast with Sir Topham Hatt.
We attended my neice's wedding here. Shockingly we were served out of date bottled beer that was included in her package. There was no where near enough seating after the ceremony which resulted in a breast feeding mother sitting on the floor while staff looked on. ( This was rectified after family went and got more chairs). A ceiling tile fell from the roof narrowly missing guests. The Bridal party that arrived on the morning of the ceremony (travelled from down South) were not allowed to book in to their rooms until 3 30 pm. There was a massive lack of communication at breakfast causing the overstaying guests to not be able to sit together. Overall, the experience was dampened and disappointing for the family, although on the day all of the family tried hard to hide all of this from the Bride & Groom.
Lunch, dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard and really enjoyable.
The room was spotless and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We would have preferred to have our food order taken at the table as opposed to going to the bar to order, as there were a number of us, so one person had to remember everyone's order.
Good breakfast would have preferred individual yoghurt pots
No response to room service kept calling for 30 mins
My room the bath had no cold water! I had to fill kettle up with cold water from sink to cool it!
Hotel was clean, they did a kids mini disco which was great. The staff were happy to fill water bottles which was really helpful.
Food is overpriced for essentially a from the freezer menu. Our child didnt eat the kids burger. We tried it and i wouldn't have fed it to my dog. We ate the chicken burger which wasnt great. Chips that came with the food were luke warm. Beds are quite uncomfortable.
The location was ideal for us - especially out of season!!
We had a lovely
I wouldn't grade it as a 4* but comfortable.
Breakfast was nice. And room lovely.
The meal at night awfull service .then wrong food. Just not good at all. Waste of money.
