Basic accommodation if you need to be near Docklands.
Pros:

That I only stayed one night.

Cons:

Drab area, drab apartment. Maybe the area is busy when the footy is on??? Nothing open, no atmosphere in February when we stayed.

Great hotel close to the train station, clean room and lovely staff!
Pros:

It was great being so close to the southern cross station, very clean, nice spacious bedroom and bathroom, lots of great amenities, and the reception staff were lovely. Definitely will be staying here again next time I'm in Melbourne!

Excellent choice for a city stay!
Pros:

Our second stay in 2 weeks. Again, very happy. Comfortable, has everything we needed. Great location. Would stay again and again. Washing machine and kitchenette in studio room are such great bonuses! Vietnamese restaurant next door is so good too!

Cons:

Need a proper exhaust fan in the bathroom for showering and using the dryer.
We also found a dirty plate in the cutlery drawer! Cleaners must’ve missed it - previous guests obviously left it behind in an odd place.

First choice for Mlebourne visits with family
Pros:

We always choose this hotel for the location and price. Quieter area of Melb, but also very accessible for train station, sky bus, the stadium etc.
The room size is perfect travelling with a toddler, and the second bathroom comes in handy - one even had a bath.
Full size kitchen & fridge for any cooking required.
Will be back.

Cons:

Some furnishings are dated, however for the price point its perfect for what we need.
No extra blankets or pillows in the room
It is in Docklands, so on the wekeend you need to know where to look if you are after a barista coffee :)
