We ended up staying at the Lantern Hotel unexpectedly after our original hotel booking — confirmed and paid via Booking.com — was not honoured on arrival. This meant we had to find accommodation at short notice in high season and unfortunately pay over twice what we had originally planned. That situation is currently being taken up with Booking.com and was not the fault of the Lantern Hotel.
Once we arrived, however, our experience at the Lantern was very positive. The hotel is right in the heart of Patong, with everything easily accessible, yet we had no issues at all with noise. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout our stay.
Despite the stressful start to the day, we ended up having a very enjoyable stay here. The location, comfort and overall experience were excellent, and we would happily recommend the Lantern Hotel to others visiting Patong.
Wai the guy from receptionist he was so helpful and very understanding i can tell the he's one of the best people that have a good customer service skills.
Room with balcony was great. And the price is affordable.
Amazing service from Oom and Baifern! I arrived early and they were very nice and accomodating. They allowed me to check in early as well. Would definitely recommend!

Have stayed more than 10 times at this hotel and as usual, the staff & service are excellent. Only complaint that I have for this trip is that the mattress in my room was slightly lumpy and too soft. As a result, I suffered from lower back pain for quite a few days. I will stay again in this hotel when I go back to Phuket, if the rates are still good.

The hotel has an excellent location in the center of Phuket, close to Arabic restaurants and markets.
I am stay here too long time about sraff the hotel so nice lovely too much they halp me everything when we need Ning Tian Duean They help more for late chheck out and tge room too big so good.
I thank the helpful staff, the hotel is beautiful and clean, and it is close to shops and markets, and everything is available nearby
