Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%
To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
We are currently undergoing maintenance work on our rooms and remodeling on the 3rd floor of the hotel in the classic sector until June 13. We are looking for improvements for a better experience.
Please notice that group reservations from three rooms will be charged with the full amount of rate maximun 24 hrs after confirm reservation. This run for standard and nonrefundable rates.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Great location, very comfortable, nice lounge area downstairs. Helpful, friendly staff.
I didn't arrive until very late - almost midnight - I had informed the hotel when I booked, I wasn't worried as it was 24hour check in. However, when I arrived the door was locked, there was no one inside that I could see and there was a sign on the door saying reception was only staffed until 9.30pm. The taxi I had taken from the airport had already left so you can imagine my panic! There was no answer when I knocked hard on the door. I tried to ring them on whatsapp but this didn't work. I had to access my home SIM to try and call them via the mobile network, this did ring but there was no answer. This incurred me a significant cost due to international roaming charges.
After about 10 mins, somebody approached me from the street and asked if I had booked a room - it was a member of staff who proceeded to explain that there is another entrance round the corner! I was very annoyed as how would I have known this, they hadn't told me when I'd said I was arriving late and the sign on the door didn't say to walk round the corner. Not a great start and a very unpleasant experience upon arrival. Please do better and let your guests know to walk round the corner in advance and put it on the sign on the door!
