We like the decor of the building the friendly staff and the lovely food we had.
There should be a lift installed somewhere.

Only niggle was a third floor room which was a bit of a trek/climb

Garden rooms overlook the garden, which is nice, but can be a little noisy when the garden is in full swing on Friday or Saturday evening.
Hot food is cooked fresh for breakfast, which is great, but it was a little slow when busy.
We found the staff absolutely fabulous over the phone before our stay, on arrival and during our stay. Very courteous, friendly, attentive and skilled in their roles.
We actually stayed for two nights with a two night gap for our daughter's wedding at Pylewell Park and hosted a reception, in the garden of the hotel, for the guests on the Sunday. The staff were again very attentive taking drink orders for our guests and the flatbreads / pizzas ordered were delicious.
The food was excellent at dinner on the Thursday and Sunday for our group of families. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a good choice of cooked food and continental.
Hotel position. Reception staff very helpful
Extra charge for cooked breakfast. Unit at bottom of bed was too close to bed post and continuously knocked ankle. Unit unnecessary. Small car park. No vacancy until lunchtime next day. Had to go to car park for 8am to pay for that morning

The hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of the bustling Lymington high street. We loved how genuinely helpful and friendly the staff were, who went out of their way to help us with our pram and baby. They even swapped us to a larger room to accommodate our baby's cot.
The communal spaces are fantastic, especially the courtyard restaurant is worth a visit whether you are staying at the hotel or just popping in for a meal!
We would have loved AC in the loft room, as it was difficult to cool down on a hot summer day.
