Excellent staff & excellent food
Quite expensive
Great location in middle of town, lovely staff and service, comfortable bed, beautifully decorated.
The stairs mainly (no lift) and no parking on the premises. Plus the taps in our room were not fixed and wobbled a lot which made getting water cumbersome.
Room, overfurnished with beautiful furniture, but more space would be appreciated.
Breakfast, good but didn’t like the cooking experience, egg beating in the restaurant.

The hotel had lost all internet access. So no telephone or WiFi for the entire stay. It was still broken when I left. For a hotel at this cost per night, I was very surprised that this hadn’t been rectified more quickly.

Aber leider war in unserem Zimmer der Wasserkocher, die Dusche, das Rollo und die Nachtischlampe defekt. Wurde aufgrund später Anreise auch erst am Folgemorgen durch uns reklamiert - man hätte uns nach Aussage der Managerin ansonsten auch gleich ein anderes Zimmer gegeben
The location is excellent. The staff make you feel at home and are very attentive. The food is generally at a high standard and most of the dishes are delicious.
We recommend that an alternative vegetable is offered in place of samphire. It was stringy and not very pleasant to eat. However thiis did not detract from the dishes being delicious.
Location was perfect. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Bedroom
Overlooked the patio and garden and was noisy at night, late evening.
Had to ask for extra towels.
One evening meal was very disappointing. The fish was not good at all and should have been removed entirely from my bill. They applied a discount but the fish was grey, tasteless and looked very unappetizing. The option did not appear on the next evening’s menu.
Its a beautiful property inside and out. Very clean and tidy and up to date.

really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, from the check-in to not wanting to leave. The decor throughout the hotel and in the bedrooms has beautiful attention to detail.
We had a lovely dinner but forgot to use our 10% discount. We asked at checkout if we could apply it retrospectively, but were told this couldn't be done.
