Rubbish
Pros:

Outside temperature was extremely hot, so cannot blame the hotel, but no air on and silly fans! Windows open on to road opposite a mail sorting office so 5.15am crashing, shouting, Lorrie’s idling, again, not hotels fault but annoying non the less. Asked if football was on but was told yes if enough people, if not we will turn off early. Had to have doors and windows open, so smokers were right outside with smoke blowing in, disgusting. The shower only worked on hot, no cold and the breakfast was served by a miserable guy that said I couldn’t have an espresso as they hadn’t turned the machine on!!

Cons:

As above but the prices being charged you would expect staff to be happier and it to have air con!

We had a lovely stay with our dog, we were in a dog friendly garden room and we were able to sit outside our door in the garden which we loved.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The garden could of done with a tidy up, but we still enjoyed it.

A pleasant experience which could be improved with a bit more attention to detail through the hotel interior wise.
Pros:

It’s in a good spot and the room was nice enough. Marvin who served breakfast was fantastic. Really efficient and friendly. I also left a bank card in my room which was found and returned to me in the post which I was very appreciate of.

Cons:

The hotel on the website creates the impression of a boutique hotel but once you are there it felt less so. The reception area and the area behind it is quite cluttered and shabby. The names and signs on the bedroom doors are just strange (I understand the link but a bit odd to have the spice girls on there). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the buffet was lacklustre. The hotel is fine but I think it needs some money spending on it.

Delightful surroundings and good food
Pros:

The decor throughout the hotel was quirky and delightful. My room was very comfortable, with a good bed, an armchair as well as a table and chair. Tea and coffee provided was very generous and included a good variety of tastes - not just the usual. The bathroom was large and very clean. Dinner was excellent with steaks cooked over an open fire. Full breakfast in the morning was very generous, with delicious coffee served in a metal plunger so kept hot throughout the meal

Cons:

Staff were efficient but very reserved.
