Excellent séjour, dans un hôtel confortable près du centre
Pros:

Hotel très confortable, à quelques minutes à pieds du centre.
Personnel très aimable et aidant.
Bistrot proposant de la restauration de qualité et excellent petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Erreur de facturation mais correction très vite acceptée et effectuée.

Though Ghent is a small town, this vibrant gem makes it an excellent place to stay while exploring the city.

Lovely comfortable short stay in Ghent
Pros:

Staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and looked very new. Good shower. Lovely small sweet treat. The location is ideal, as the city centre is a short walk away. We did not make use of the facilities, but the hotel itself is lovely and there is a small pretty courtyard. If you do not want to make use of the hotel's parking, there is public parking close by.

Cons:

We did not manage to find the entrance to the hotel's parking, so we went to the public parking nearby. It will be helpful if the hotel can supply directions to their parking's entrance when a booking is made. We were unaware of the fact that the hotel is in Gent's low emission zone, which means you have to register your vehicle beforehand. We were only made aware of this the day before our arrival when looking at the info sent by the hotel. It was stressful as we did not know how the process works and if our rental car meets the requirements. It worked out in the end, but a heads up to other travelers to be aware of this.

Pros:

The Staff !! The beautiful room spray that greets you on entry from the street. The entry area . The bistro Oliver ( wrong spelling) , our waiter was so professional but lovely. All the staff were excellent and the food was delicious. Our room was gorgeous. Beautiful white chocolate biscuits in the room . The clever bathroom door that works for the loo and bathroom. The hotel feels gracious. Loved it .

Cons:

For me sadly I couldn't use the sauna after the pool as it is up a lot of stairs. We had booked the hotel specially for the spa ( I have a bad back). The pillows we're wonderful but the bed a bit firm for me . But .. I would return in a heartbeat 💓.

Fabulous, would stay again
Pros:

Beautiful property, staff were so nice at check in and gave me a complementary upgrade for my birthday AND had balloons in my room. Fabulous location, gym serviceable and spa nice.

Cons:

The breakfast is probably overpriced for what it is but it is convenient
