Acceptable, but less than I was hoping for.
Pros:

I was not fully aware of the shared toilet and bathroom before booking. I wouldn’t have booked otherwise.

Cons:

I didn’t like the shared toilet and bathroom. A safe thst wasn’t functional was also disappointing.

Very basic tho the bed fresh and comfortable.
Pros:

Its proximity to Neutral Bay wharf and the harbour wonderful!

Cons:

The traffic noise was constant and awful.

Also the power board on frig overloaded for kettle and heater which I had to plug into power point on skirting at foot of bed!

A very sharp edged step into bathroom tripped me painfully, which I reported! Needs a timber wedge!

Really enjoyed as close to harbor, ferry and train station.
Pros:

Clean and quiet. Great location.

Cons:

I do prefer separate bathrooms for men and women.

Comfortable, clean room with great service and amenities.
Pros:

Great hotel facilities (tea coffee iron etc) even in the small room with shared bathroom, definitely makes it much higher comfort and quality compared to other places with shared bathroom. Super comfy bed, clean room, cleaning each day.
