Stayed there during my business trip to Oxford!
Pros:

The best part about staying there is definitely the breakfast - the atmosphere is ultimately British just as they show in period dramas. It was also 10minutes walk to the city centre. The hotel took care about noise screen in my room. Daily cleaning and towels change - that made my returns in the evening specially cosy.

Cons:

Certain improvements and a bit of renovation could be done; bathroom felt very narrow even though I am not big..

Adequate hotel, authentic
Pros:

Good stay, nice breakfast, attentive staff, vintage decoration (although the hotel is a bit dated it does the job). Authentic English place, possibility to have a full English breakfast.

Room at top of the property
Pros:

We had a room with a brand new ensuite. it was at the top of the property the stairs very extremely steep and thin. I struggled to climb them. On arrival the room was extremely cold, the tv did not work properly and there were issues with the Internet. The owner I think Steve was really apologetic, the heating was rectified and a new TV was purchased the same day. A boster was fitted to the WiFi which did not resolve the problem but certainly made it better. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The location is superb. There are major street works going on but even though the windows are single glazed it was not a problem. The owner has provided insulating boards for in front of the windows if the house is an issue. They included a continental breakfast, and cooked breakfast can be ordered. we did not have it as on holiday and felt 9.00 am was too early to finish. We probably would book elsewhere if we ever returned yo Oxford.
