Actually, 70% of what you'd expect from a five-star hotel is missing.
As a business professional who lived in Sarajevo for 11 years, I am disgusted by the treatment I received at Movenpick (formerly Bristol).
The Door Incident: In any real 5-star hotel, staff calls the room politely if there is a delay. Instead, at 11:50 AM, while I was just out of the shower in my towel, staff tried to force my door open. Only the security latch stopped them. When I opened the door to confront them, there was no apology—just a rude demand to check out.
Intentional Power Cut: After I closed the door to get dressed, the reception immediately and intentionally cut the power to my room. I called them to say I needed to dry my hair and get ready for the airport, but they rudely replied, 'We will talk downstairs.' Evicting a guest by cutting their power is hostile and unacceptable.
Poor Service: No Wi-Fi info or hotel details were provided at check-in. The staff is untrained. The business iftar dinner I hosted was terrible—far below Sarajevo's standards.
Management: The hotel was 80% empty, yet they tried to charge 50 Euros for a 30-minute delay and cut my power. The supervisor (Yusuf) only appeared after I protested strongly.
I know this city and this hotel's history. This is not 5-star service; it is a disgrace. I will never return.
Everything was fine. Also, employes very nice..

-The room temperature was very pleasant for a winter's day.
- I had an issue with a hair drier, and the made appeared in 5 minutes with a professional one.
