Hotel is very clean. Staff are really friendly. Pool on the roof is nice to cool down. Not alot around the hotel to do. 10 min walk to train station and the river. Taxi to b2k shopping centre is about 10 mins in a taxi but is well worth the trip. Food in the hotel is good but limited. Order before 7pm or you may not get anything. There was a local market outside the hotel and down the street when we arrived on the Monday. Worth a look around even if you don't buy any of the food.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I originally booked three nights but only stayed for one. The staff promised they would refund me for the two unused nights, but after many months and countless emails, I have yet to receive a single penny.
The hotel’s main excuse was always the same: they claimed I had provided the wrong credit card details, even though it was clearly the card I used to pay for my stay in the first place. I also offered to receive the refund via a standard bank transfer (sharing my IBAN and BIC information), but they still insisted the bank repeatedly rejected it. They asked for my details over and over—scanned credit card, physical card proof, bank forms—yet somehow there was always a problem on my end, never on theirs.
Despite my numerous attempts to clarify the situation, they never really helped me find a solution. Every time I emailed, they just told me to send more information or fill out more paperwork. Even when I asked them directly if they truly intended to refund me or if I should stop wasting my time, they were vague and shifted the blame back to me or the bank.
In short, I ended up paying for three nights while only staying for one, and they never honored the refund they had promised. I’ve been left with nothing but frustration, wasted time, and no compensation. It’s clear this hotel does not take responsibility for its mistakes nor does it value its customers’ trust. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that any issue requiring a refund or proper customer service could turn into a never-ending hassle. I certainly won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
This is possibly the finest and nicest inexpensive hotel I have ever stayed in.
Located in a less popular area of Bangkok but not far away from all the attractions of the city.
Close by the Four Seasons Hotel so in the better part of the city.
Quiet, clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped, a memorable stay of 6 days.
Could find nothing wrong with the hotel, staff or breakfast food, an oasis of calm and satisfaction.

Room was great. Very clean. Location is good in that it is quiet but not too far from BTS. They have a shuttle service too. Staff were very friendly. They were happy to respond to any requests and also providing information about the area and Songkran which was happening at the time.

No upgrade offered
Very clean, comfortable and affordable stay. Don’t be anxious about the arrival to the hotel, it’s in a neighbourhood and lots of shady, VERY SAFE, side streets.
Shopping/Restaurants easy walk, there is a 7-11 literally next door, easy for supplies.
Grab cabs and tuk tuks are easy, rides into the city are 20 min and cost off peak 200 - 300 Thai B
Breakfast is served between 8am till 10am, get in early as it’ll go cold.
Pool amenities are good, it’s water and it’s cool,
Staff are super friendly

Rooms are a good size
The rooftop pool area needs a bit of life put back into it , maybe some more chairs and trees to give it some character.
The pool itself is a clever idea as this is an old Hotel that has been renovated and originally didn’t have a rooftop pool , used an above ground pool is smart and I enjoyed using it.
The only downside to my experience, I found that the people working there were very robotic.
Meaning that they were not that friendly.
All staff are lovely, particularly the gentleman seemingly working 24/7 at the front desk.
The unprompted upgrade (weirdly coincidental 2 minutes after I stepped into the room I had initially booked) to a freshly renovated room was appreciated, however it did not completely make up for the shortcomings, in particular the permanently closed pool, which was the primary reason why I chose this hotel (photos of the pool are still front & centre on the booking website I use, wotif.com)
Good room with nice, clean bathroom with good shower, good aircon, consistent wifi, nice balcony with great city view (but needs some seating.)
There were some other minor problems, but to their credit staff took care of them promptly.
Staff & the establishment are seemingly trying hard to improve, but the pool thing is a dealbreaker & until they stop advertising it as a key feature, I cannot recommend this hotel.
While writing this I am staying at the Miloft Sathorn Hotel for 3 more nights. Soon my quarantine is over and I am allowed to go home.
Of course, quarantine is never fun, but I certainly haven't had a terrible time here. Compared with other people reviewing Miloft Sathorn I haven't had any problems with the Wifi, it was quite fast and smooth and I used it all day long to work and watch Netflix.
The food was not fantastic though, often just a bit warm, sometimes even cold, small portions and not much variation in the menu. But I expected that already, you get what you pay for, so no complaints. You are allowed to order from outside though, e.g. FoodPanda and GrabFood. People complaining about the food during their ASQ stay, should pay 5 times more and stay at the Anantara Riverside for example.
Communication with the (friendly) staff is via Line. They always act quickly if you need something, so I am very happy with them.
Room is okay, a bit old, but the large balcony really is a big plus. Without balcony I would have gone crazy for sure.
Conclusion: if you have to stay in ASQ, but don't want to pay too much, Miloft Sathorn is a great choice. Just don't expect any luxury, don't expect amazing food. And upload the FoodPanda app on your phone ;)
I should have believed the bad reviews talking about feeling like in jail at Miloft Sathorn. They advertise high speed internet, yet it breaks down several times a day. It seems the hotel is overwhelmed with too many guests staying here, while saving on the service. I wonder how the other guests are surviving. They starve us so we have to order additional food from their menu or from outside the hotel. Better go to Pullman or any other hotel really. Pay more but be treated like a human being. They offer unacceptable food that is not only low in quantity but also quality and sometimes not edible. Staff knows nothing about nutrition. If you are hungry in the night, they do not care. 7-11 is their only go to option.
I cannot recommend this hotel.
sitting here at Miloft and feeling in jail. in their ad, it says HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Good, I thought. In my room there is no coverage. 4/5 mpbs. this is not good When I'm going to be here for 14 days in quarantine.
Now I understand what jail is like.

I am staying in this hotel, and my experience have been very poor, it is getting worse by the day. The only reason I am in this hotel is because it is listed as
I was put in a room in which the AC remote does not work, after several attempts still does not work. My only option was to turn on/off from AC itself. Phone in the room does not work. As a foreigner in Thailand one of my way to communicate is by phone. No one checked the room properly prior for me to checked in.
When my meals was reheated, FRUITs were reheated as well. On 11/25/2020, I called the front desk personal Witthawat to attest that the FRUITs were reheated. I am so upset that I could not eat, told the staff to take the food away.
On my lunch at 8pm on 11/25/2020, sticky rice was hard and unable to eat. When warming sticky rice, there is a process to it with a steamer not in the microwave. Only partial lunch.
Toilet not working
We explicitly indicated that I am working night (USA time), and provided a schedule for my meals. I continue to be awaken at the normal food service during the days, which are impacting my ability to rest and affecting my work performance
Meals are brought without any utensils
Only one positive thing happened, while I am staying in this hotel. I needed help with my computer and the hotel sent two staff to assist

Tre mål mat och 1.5 L vatten om dagen, skicka temp 2 ggr per dag. On call nurse 24/7. 14 dagar ( for real 16 and 15 nights) 2 doctor meets for covid check. Nice room with 2 bedrooms , fridge. waterboiler, tv and free internet. All food is delivered to the room but put outside and then a knock on the door so you know.
Dette skulle være et 4 stjernes hotel og bildene såg fantastiske ut, men..... Bassengområdet på taket var slitt. Det var bare en duk i bassenget og vannet var saltet så mye at det svei. På rommet var det to ting som trakk veldig ned: Sengene var stein harde og i dusjen var det to separate dusjer, en for kaldt vann og en til varmtvann med en slags heater inne i dusjen. Frokosten var nesten utelukkende asiatisk med ris og nudler. De hadde loff og syltetøy... thats it. Vi fikk bare en romnøkkel så hver gang vi skulle ut måtte vi ta ut kortet av magnetbryteren og rommet var glovarmt når vi kom inn igjen.

スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで丁寧です。設備は水回り関係に少し古さを感じ、シャワーを固定するヘッドがぐらぐらしていて、きちんと固定できませんでした。スイッチも子供120㎝には届かないところにあり、一人でシャワーができませんでしたが、大きな問題ではありません。
We lived the hotel on 31/12/2019, we went to Asiatique for over year.It isn't so far for walking to Asiatique and BTS station.
The hotel is clean, however it is an older hotel, the flushing of close stool was very weak and caused stuck.
