Apart from the above the rest of our experience was positive with an especially warm welcome.
Pros:

Our only disappointment was the full English breakfast.The bacon was cold ,hard and inedible we complained but received no apology from the member of staff who appeared totally disinterested.

Such a shame, we have stayed here before, but this time very disappointing- but staff were excellent and did their best.

Beautiful building, helpful staff and delicious food.
Pros:

It was beautiful and located perfectly to attend a concert at The Mill. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The facilities in the room were excellent. Superb choices for breakfast and the food and coffee were delicious.

Cons:

Parking was tricky especially as it was a Sunday. The stairs were steep (I have mobility issues) but I was advised about both these issues and the staff went out of their way to help me & carry my bag.

A lovely ancient pub well worth a visit.

Overall my stay was very enjoyable id definitely come again and recommend to others.
Pros:

My whole stay at the bull inn was enjoyable, staff were helpful and friendly. Food at dinner and breakfast was good. The room I was in was cozy and comfortable.

Cons:

The room was a little small, but was fine for just one person.
