Please note that some rooms are located in the main building and others are in an annex opposite the Wykeham Arms. Both buildings offer rooms upstairs, some of which are steep and narrow and may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Staff, food, ambience.
Parking - a bit chaotic, particularly upon departure.
Always have a nice stay here and the coffee machines are a bonus, but....(see below)
....would be nice to have a menu of what each coffee pod is.
Room was lovely with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Food was fabulous cooked by the runner up in the Masterchef the professionals Luke Emmess.

Nice bathroom but basin tap and shower head need some attention.

Room was delightful although a little bit noisy early with deliveries but hey ho it is a city. We have known the Wykeham for years and it really doesn't disappoint. The pub is just fabulously relaxed and the fire was going so the ambience was spot on. The food at dinner was exceptional as too was the breakfast selection and the staff were a joy all were friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. We came with a friend who also loved her stay and we are all looking forward to returning in the not too distant.

This is one of the best one night visits I've had anywhere, for many reasons.
The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, nothing was too much bother for any of them.
Breakfast was varied, fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant was relaxed and low key with a delicious menu.
The rooms (single and small) shouted quality and comfort and had everything needed for a short stay.
No music or tv in the bar - brilliant! A busy local that also welcomed visitors, with wood fires and fascinating wall decorations.
We loved it and will definitely return.
