A good inexpensive hotel for a stop before going to airport not for a long family holiday
Pros:

Fundamentally there was nothing wrong with the accommodation, it was clean, tidy and the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Cons:

It wasn’t clear how far away from Madrid itself (50 mins by metro) this town/property was, although a relatively nice rural town there was literally nothing to do - the metro was across the street which because of distance to Madrid you really needed to buy a week pass / 10 trip pass - my room was above the Main Street and to have the windows open made things extremely loud - the TV in Spain normally has 1 or 2 English speaking channel - this didn’t and had no way to change audio
