Great views, but be sure your willing to settle for dismissive, bordering on rude customer service

Our room was amazing, with the most breathtaking views of the canals.

Cons:

4 of us returned from a tour and wanted to sit outside with hot wine and beers to enjoy the fresh day. When we asked if the heater could be turned on, we were told it ‘wasn’t busy enough tor them to warrant it’, in a very dismissive manner. When leaving to head out again some 1.5 hr later, 2 people were outside jovially laughing with the only 2 people in the outside area - with the heater on! Come on guys, customer service for your in-house guests shouldn’t be that hard - it meant you lost 4 repeat guests and 4 diners in your restaurant for the 3 nights we were there.

Mooie hotel, top locatie maar met zure nasmaak.
Pros:

Heel mooi en authentiek hotel op perfecte locatie maar met een zeer zure nasmaak.
Op het eerste zicht echt top, mooi oud gebouw met prachtige ligging en propere kamer maar dit word overschaduwd door de gastheer/eigenaar Fangio. (Hij heeft zich nooit voorgesteld maar we zijn er toch achtergekomen wie hij is)
Vanaf aankomst was het al een rare vibe, zeer weinig uitleg over het reilen en zeilen van het hotel. Meteen zo van jullie kamer is op de tweede verdieping, hier is de brochure van Brugge en trek jullie plan maar.
Elke keer als we na weg geweest waren terug aan het hotel kwamen stond Fangio in de deuropening met een arrogante blik en keek hij ons van kop tot teen aan met opgeheven neus, we voelden ons geen ene keer welkom bij terugkomst. Ook geregeld dat hij een ongepaste opmerking gaf als we aankwamen. Waarom deze man in de hotel industrie werkt is ons nog steeds een mysterie want er zit niets van gastvriendelijkheid in hem, hij hoort niet met gasten om te gaan. Hij zal ongetwijfeld wel hard werken want hij deed ook de opdiening op het terras en in de eetzaal maar dit is geen excuus om zo met je klanten om te gaan.
Ik hoop dat de mede eigenaars weten wat voor stempel Fangio op het hotel en restaurant nalaat want alle goeds wat er is word overschaduwd door het gedrag en daden van deze man. Het ook het eerste wat in me opkomt als het over het hotel gaat, jammer.

Le petit-déjeuner et le personnel du matin. L'hôtel est très bien situé et très propre.

Cons:

La fenêtre de ma chambre n'avait pas de rideau et le soleil y rentrait dès 5h du matin en juin. À 23 h il n'y a plus personne à la réception en cas de problème et personne n'a voulu monter les deux étages pour le constater. Quand on dit chambre avec vue, il faut savoir qu'au deuxième étage, il s'agit d'une mansarde et que la fenêtre est très haute dans la pièce. Il nous a fallu monter sur la pointe des pieds pour l'apercevoir.
