what we hoped for.
Pros:

Superb!
Pros:

All the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble- and all done with a smile. So welcoming.
The fact that there are many familiar faces amongst the staff tells you it is a good place to work.
The location was perfect for our needs.
Great atmosphere and good food, especially how well they cook fish dishes.
The newly refurbished garden is charming.
Parking is good.
We had fans in the room as it was during one of the heatwaves.
We love staying at this hotel and have done so many times before and will certainly be back.

Not even close to good value for money.
Pros:

Very good location for walking into town.
Ample parking.
Handy for visiting Winchester and nearby towns.
Good cooked breakfast, lots of choices.

Cons:

Very sparse continental breakfast buffet. Had to ask for replenishments. Coffee from a machine.
Considering the size of the rooms and the beds, it's not even close to good value for money. I would expect to pay slightly over half for such cramped accommodation.

Aardig personeel, sfeervolle kamer.

Cons:

Een ramp om bij de kamer te komen, het was net een kinderkasteel met bukken en naar boven, beneden en weer naar boven lopen. Weinig parkeerplaatsen en vanuit de kamer en het restaurant meteen de zerken van een oud kerkhof 2 meter van je vandaan. Een macaber geheel.
