The room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were very accommodating, and the pub very dog-friendly. Great location for walks and the beaches, and the seasonal dishes were delicious - the food is worth travelling back for!
The room didn’t get that dark as the curtains weren’t blackout ones and there was the dim green emergency light too.
Rooms are behind the main building and look out over water. They are all very comfortable.
The noise from a mobile freezer parked outside the first room was noticeable at night.
Great location. Perfect for twitchers! Comfortable room with a great breakfast. Despite being next to the A12 the bedrooms are at the back so very little noise. Excellent value for money. Very dog friendly.
Nothing.
location was fantastic breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day
nothing
Friendly staff and a perfect location for the Southwold Sausage Dog walk on the beach.
Great evening meal and a lovely cooked breakfast.
Bed was clean and comfy.
The toilet had not been cleaned or someone had used it afteri so that felt unpleasant.
There was a hole in the glass of one of the windows and the lighting was poor.
good location,good breakfast
we were served raw steak
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was first class. room clean and comfortable and excellent views of the estuary. Menu was varied and the night we ate there was very good as were the breakfast options
nothing
lovely situation, very comfortable rooms, staff are friendly, efficient and pleasant. Breakfasts are good but evening meals rather restricted for choice and seem slightly pretentious in their presentation.
Rooms would be even better if they had two easy chairs.
Breakfast was excellent and generous. Evening meals were also top quality and generous portions. Good selection of real ale and wines. Staff were all absolutely superb, Lisa particularly so. Good size, comfortable room and an amazing view over the Blyth estuary. Convenient for a number of locations and attractions. Vernon (Caroline's Guide Dog) was well received.
The A12.
Lacking a few basic items
Selection for breakfast
Attractive outside and in and well maintained/decorated, good location and very comfortable.
