Location is great and staff friendly, pool good extra

Location was ideal for town centre and beaches.
The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel.
The dining room and bar looked very nice, clean and well decorated.

I always stay here when I have work appointments in Bournemouth. The location is handy for the centre of town and parking is always available. The staff are helpful, the room has everything I need with excellent wifi. Breakfast is cooked to order and very good.

Stayed in classic family room and room size was good with plenty of plug sockets, a kettle for tea/coffee, hair dryer and tv. Decor was average with some repairs required but adequate if you're not too fussy. Breakfast was top notch so food defo 10/10. Friendly staff. Nice to have access to pool which isn't huge but adequate for a little swim. The hotel is on an incline so need to be quite fit to be walking up and down. Beds in room were comfortable which is important. A nice 3 night stay. Good bus services in Bournemouth Square to visit local towns

Location great, staff all lovely, cleanliness 👍, facilities brilliant, excellent pool/spa, we had a great stay at this lovely hotel, no issues at all, will definitely book here again 🙂

We had the best stay at this hotel, we were lucky enough to be in staying in the mini heatwave and wow it was incredible. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they really bring the joyful vibes to the hotel! The food was incredible, huge compliments to the chefs, a great variety of options on the menu to choose from too, and they catered very well to my son’s allergies. Could not have asked for a better stay we will be back very soon!

We enjoyed a 3 night package that included a free visit to the Russell Cole museum, use of spa facilities and a cream tea. We also enjoyed a breakfast and 3 course dinner every evening. Super friendly staff, including the hotel manager. Lovely clean tastefully decorated bedrooms and hotel rooms. Easy access to town and beaches. The slight down point is the size of the pool, it is a little small but if you pick your time right you can have it all to yourselves. Super place super deal.

Room was nice, check in easy. Breakfast staff very nice.

Great for a family trip. Great location walking distance to beach and town centre. Great spacious room and pool for kids!

This was first visit to Hotel Collingwood.
The guy on reception was prescriptive, I would describe his welcome as -'ok' but not great. He wasnt warm and friendly or smiley for someone that is front of house. He answered our questions but didn't go the extra mile.

The location is great - However there is a short steep hill towards the beach. If you have mobility issues this may be an issue for you.

Eden Spa - You can book massages, facials onsite. QR CODES in your room.

Free use of swimming pool . Towels from reception. Lovely warm pool. Treat yourself to a dip

Parking 8/10🚗

You park behind the hotel in the underground carpark. Plenty of spaces.
You pay at reception when you checkin it's £12.50 per night.

Don't do what we did - when we open the boot it hit the roof of the underground car park. 🫣

Beds were clean and comfortable.
There is a large fan in your room

1 wardrobe and a dressing table area.
Complimentary tea /coffee and biscuits.

Ensuite 🚿
Shower Ensuite is super clean, complimentary shower gel. The power of the shower is great and very warm.
Lovely fluffy towels.

Breakfast 10/10🍳
We went for breakfast at 9am and wasnt too busy

Breakfast was included with our booking.
Teas/coffees, toast, yoghurt and fruit just help yourself.

The ladies serving in the restaurant were lovely, warm, welcoming and helpful.

Hot breakfast - order taken at your table and was amazing quality and hot. I had little breakfast and husband had breakfast bap.

Other Food
You can get Bar food or you can dine in the Gold Restaurant. I can't comment as we didn't use.

Cleanliness 10/10 🧹
The hotel is very clean.
From reception, to the restaurant to the bedrooms - immaculately clean.
No complaints at all.

Near the Odeon you have  Slim Chickens, Miller & Carter, Ask Italian, Prezzo, Weatherspoons, Tony's Cafe - great for cakes,

Things to do - Mulligans- Mini golf, shuffleboard, pool, Odeon, Pier amusements , theatre, Escape Rooms

Lovely hotel in a great location, very close to a sandy beach and facilities. Hotel was decorated lovely and very comfortable. The pool was a great size for a quick swim with the family, not too deep and with a convenient jacuzzi and sauna nearby. The games room was a plus for families and we spent a lot of time in there. Parking was ideal and we were able to extend our parking on the day we checked out for a very reasonable fee to leave the car there all day whilst we explored the beach further.

As an event organiser, I can't praise this hotel highly enough.
The facilities are great, the food is amazing, and the location is perfect.
But what makes me keep coming back to run our weekend dance events at this venue, is the team.
From check-in to check-out, every member of the Collingwood team goes above and beyond to make sure that the entire experience is friendly and welcoming as well as completely professional. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to ensuring that our events run smoothly, and all of our guests are treated to a wonderful experience whenever we visit.
And on top of all that - what a great dance floor!
