Clean, comfortable & friendly
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. Everything exceeded expectations, and I’d happily stay here again.

Not what we had hoped or had expected given the ratings and reviews.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Staff helpful. The benefit of a small pool/spa is good.

Cons:

The hotel is right on a main access road into Bournemouth and it is very noisy day and night as it is not really set back from the road. Whlst the reception areas are fine the bedrooms and windows in the 3 bedrooms where we stayed all need attention. We stayed 2 nights and on the first night having noted there was a damp patch on the ceiling ... around 11 p.m. water began to drip through the ceiling - which was really unpleasant. The night porter moved us to a very small room with two single beds on the top floor ... not easy with a small baby in the middle of the night - we had booked a double bed plus a single and a cot as we had a 3 month baby with us. The next day we were moved to a smaller room with a double bed and an adjoining bedroom with bunk beds .. not suitable and not what we had booked. The hotel needs renovations and repairs.

Loved the restaurant!
Pros:

A great hotel, with an excellent restaurant serving high quality food. The bar has a great selection including fantastic cocktails. The room was immaculate, the bed was super comfortable! Perfect location for a walk on the stunning beach. 😎

Lovely hotel and staff! Staff are exceptional! Very clean!
Pros:

Amazing breakfast and staff! Staff at the bar and breakfast were lovely and attentive! Lovely sense of humor too! Super clean and cosy! The spa was very nice! Hot stone massage highly recommend! Loved the basket with dressing gown and slippers ❤️Swimming pool was perfect! Busy during Easter break.

Cons:

Little things like no water on arrival. Required a trip to the bar to purchase a glass bottle, etc., a bit convoluted. Happy to be charged in a room price and have that basic treat on arrival. Make it easy, please, and no herbal tea in the room. Very noisy customers (drunken men) on Saturday night, past 01:00 am, spoiled the experience. The staff were very helpful in resolving this issue. Perhaps the walls are on the thinner side.

Pros:

We had a really lovely stay at the hotel. The room was nice and very comfortable, the location was perfect, and the spa was such a relaxing bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Pros:

Nice room, excellent breakfast and good location.

Cons:

Had to pay £15 a night for our dog and £12.50 a night for parking. It does say there is a parking charge of £12.50 but regarding the dog it says ‘pets are allowed on request, charges may be applicable’. So having booked on a non refundable basis I was a bit surprised at £15 a night and that it should be made clearer in their t&c s.

Great location and lovely staff, but overall a bit overpriced for the facilities offered.
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect, very close to the beach, Bournemouth Gardens, shops, and restaurants, so everything was easily walkable. The staff in the breakfast area were genuinely lovely in the mornings, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had nice options, although the timing felt a bit strict. The room itself was comfortable, but shockingly hot, and we had to keep the window open almost all the time.

Cons:

The hotel is older overall, and the pool is very small, so the amenities felt a bit limited for the price. The extra charges for both the dog and parking felt excessive considering the room rate was already expensive for one night. The hotel itself is quite old and the facilities, especially the small pool, didn’t fully feel worth the overall price paid.
