Great stay!

Great stay!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a lovely modern atmosphere. Our room was so much more spacious than we expected, with beautiful sea views. It was also clean and very comfortable. The location is ideal it’s just a short walk to the beach and town centre. We had great weather, which is always an added bonus.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We had the avocado on toast and it was 10/10.

Would definitely stay again!

Family friendly amazing place to stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful time and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, welcoming and very well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

The rooms were clean and cosy, breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the facilities were fantastic for families. We especially loved the pool – such a great bonus.
We would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back

Excellent family break
Pros:

Lovely independent hotel with excellent staff and great atmosphere! Our family room was spacious, the beds were great and a new stylish bathroom. The pool was a big hit with the kids as was the games room. Excellent bar staff, we tried a couple of delicious cocktails! Breakfast was freshly prepared with lots of options for adults and kids. The location is perfect, a short walk down to the beach, we loved it!

Great location and staff with clean rooms so would definitely recommend.
Pros:

The room was nicely decorated with plenty of sockets and charging points. The shower was a good size and worked very well. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The bar was good. The location was ideal for access to the town centre and beech. Overall, an excellent stay.

Cons:

No complaints at all.

It was alright but won’t be returning
Pros:

Good location, nice enough pool

Cons:

Freezing cold room when we arrived would’ve been nice if they’d turned the heating on to get some warmth in.
Very loud external and internal noise from other guests and people outside//cars honking late into the night
Bed was two singles pushed together rather than an actual double/king bed which wasn’t the most comfortable
Lift was out of order and we were on the top floor so a lot of stairs up! They did mention this a few days before booking but we booked non refundable

Great location. Easy walking distance to everywhere.
Beautifully decorated. Great breakfast too.

Cons:

Our bedroom was smaller than expected but suited our needs for one night.
The time for the leisure started at 10 which is a bit of a rush to enjoy full use when check out is early. Also wasn’t expecting to pay for parking at the property!

Perfect best hotel to date in Bournemouth
Pros:

The games room and pool were great.

Cons:

The room was very small and despite it being for 3, there were only drink making facilities for 2. The male staff at reception was cold and unwelcoming throughout our stay. The bar staff and female receptionist were great.

So Impressed with this Lovely Hotel and Wonderful Staff.
Pros:

We booked the Collingwood as a short break and I am surprised we have never found this lovely hotel before now as we often visit and stay in Bournemouth for shows.
Its in a very convenient position and a short walk from the town and theatres.
Everything about it was really good, staff , food and our room. We had a upgraded room but the Cosy room look nice too but obviously smaller.
Kasia showed us the smaller room for comparison because we were interested in booking the hotel for a reunion needing to book several rooms next year.
We came home and suggested this venue to our friends and now it has been booked . There are two function rooms suitable for a big party, a large conference room with a bar and a smaller lounge which will be ideal for our group. [photos attached]
There is a lovely Spa too for guests to have free use of the warm Pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna.
All staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and Barman/waiter Florin really couldn't have done any more to make our evening special at dinner. The young man the next night was great too and a few others there who stay regularly seemed to know him . The lady who served breakfast was very efficient too as was the receptionist and the manager who was around.
We are really looking forward to going back to the Collingwood and can see why so many guests return.
