Disappointing
Pros:

This hotel receives really good reviews but I think experiences vary if you book a basic room and if you don’t book direct. The bar and restaurant areas were nice and small pool area was good and nice to have. Good location but no nice views.

Cons:

We had a cozy room so expected it to be basic and small but we thought from pictures and reviews it would be a higher standard. It was fine but a bit dated and very hot the bed was very small and not very comfy. There was no water in the room. We had to go and rent water bottles and were charged for filtered tap water. The charge for the bottles goes to charity, but we paid £3 for the tap water, it’s a low cost but doesn’t feel very welcoming and tap water is a basic . The manager tried to claim we were refunded for the water but this isn’t the case. The cold buffet breakfast was very limited and you help yourself to tea and coffee which was fine. Hot breakfast cooked to order was ok but no choice as a pescatarian to have the salmon without a supplement. This doesn’t make any sense as meat eaters can have a large array of meat and extras at no additional cost. As we had read the reviews about excellent staff that can’t do enough to help you, we tried to speak to the manager about this as we assumed he might be able to offer something as I didn’t eat meat. He was rude and dismissive and very argumentative which was extremely disappointing. He said I could have a vegan sausage was very unappealing. We had booked my daughter in for a birthday breakfast the next day but decided to cancel and ask for a refund which was given. It’s not so much about the charge which I would be happy to pay if it seemed fair and reasonable, but the extra charge didn’t seem balanced and the attitude of the manager was very unwelcoming and short sighted. I have to say that all other staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a lovely breakfast elsewhere which was better value for money and offered everything we wanted at a better price. We had to pay extra for parking as we didn’t book direct at the hotel. We should have read the small print! This hotel gets rave reviews so maybe we just had some bad experiences.

Fantastic experience.
Pros:

Well, what can I say. We've just returned from taking 25 couples to our dancing weekend and we all had a ball. Martin and all the staff could not have done anymore to make our stay more pleasurable. Lovely rooms, great food ( especially if you're a Vegan or Vegetarian) and fantastic service. We all loved it so much we've booked for next year already! Thank you Marcin 😊

Outstanding stay and great Gluten Free meals
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for New Years Eve. My wife needs gluten free and dairy free food and both the dinner menu and the breakfast menu were fully geared up for this so we both could have an amazing meal and breakfast.
The staff were superb throughout our stay and the hotel itself was fantastic

Low quality experience
Pros:

Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and location was great.

Cons:

Lift was very slow. No hot water in the shower. No charging port near the bed for my phone. Very late breakfast start which was inconvenient and we had to skip it.

Great place, great facilities and great staff
Pros:

Great facilities, staff, location and a car park. Will definitely return!

Cons:

Room was a great size for a family and a lovely shower and bathroom. However there’s no AC in the room, and it was unbearably hot during the night. We had terrible sleep because of this.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but the room we stayed in, could have been betterve been been better

The staff were helpful and friendly.
The dining and reception areas were lovely.
The hotel was clean.
Good daily cleaning room service - towels, toilet tools, bin emptied.
The breakfast choice was good.

Cons:

We were in Room 119.
Small lampshade broken.
Floor standing lamp in small wardrobe.
Wardrobe door broken - door didn't close.
Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work.
Paintwork dark green - room look small and dark.
No shelf in bathroom, aside from small ledge above the toilet.
