Breakfast is good, room is spacious, staff are nice etc all around good hotel.
The area is pretty grotty and unsavory with not much immediately next to it. The Leonardo Aldgate is better located.
I had a really pleasant stay. The hotel was comfortable, well maintained and provided a lovely environment to relax in. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Shower quite inconvenient, only top vertical shower head (which makes it impossible not to wet your hair) and no diagonal option nor handheld.
Check-out quite slow. I tried with the email o received, but the “buttons” did not work, so I had to go to the front desk.
The hotel is modern and comfortable. The wait for check-in completely ruined my view of the Leonardo group.
The queue for the check-in was over 30 minutes. There was only one person checking people in at 3.30pm.
The hotel was clean, and the gym was good. One blonde lady at reception was particularly pleasant, welcoming, and professional, and at least she smiled and treated guests with kindness, which I genuinely appreciated.
The reception staff on the morning of 12 October were extremely rude, particularly the lady who appeared to be the manager. She was unnecessarily unpleasant and even seemed angry with another staff member who was trying to help. Such an attitude is unacceptable in hospitality. The hotel’s location is also inconvenient, with poor Underground connections and frequent taxi delays due to traffic. Despite the clean facilities, I would not recommend this hotel for ppl who want to spend most of the time at the centre.

Little bit of a trek to the tube.
I loved the spa—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The big, comfortable bed was another highlight and made the stay feel extra relaxing.
Unfortunately, the second night cost a lot more than the first, which felt poor value, especially for a Monday night. We became unwell with a sickness bug during our stay and spent the second day in bed. When I called reception to ask about keeping the same room for another night, I was told to book online, which I did.
Despite booking the extra night and informing reception, staff called and knocked on our door three times on Monday while we were resting and feeling unwell.
There was also confusion over breakfast times. On arrival on Sunday, we were told breakfast was served until 11am, without being told this only applied at weekends—even though our breakfast would have been on Monday. Having missed it, I asked whether we could have it during our second night’s stay instead, but when we went downstairs at 10.30am on Tuesday, we were told breakfast had already finished.
The jacuzzi was out of action on the second day, and the room’s cleanliness could have been better, with food crumbs left on the floor from previous guests. The bathroom was small, tired and in need of refurbishment. Overall, the experience didn’t reflect the price we paid, particularly for the second night.
