Hotel Risberg

We went for dinner, and boy, oh boy, were we disappointed!!!!!!!!!

First of all, the service was super slow, menus took long to be brought, the same with drinks and food, something wasn't right!!!!! You could see the service team literally changing table clothes instead of taking orders from guests, there was one tall waiter who was the only one who understood how service is done......the rest looked more of trainees and kind of scared even ask guests if they had been served.

My pork was tasteless( the first time i had bad food in Italy).
Potatoes had a not so fresh taste and smell, and we couldn't eat them.

Excelente opção para quem está de carro alugado na região de Gallipoli , pois fica entre a cidade e as praias

OMG! what a nice surprise that place was! everything about it! Baia Verde is a very quiet place a little far from busy life. The hotel offers great stay and great food. Everything u need can be found there! Staff and owners are greaaaaat! Hello, Carolina!!! Mind you: if u stay at an airbnb kind of property, bring ur own towels and bedsheets... they don't supply anything!

Il Direttore Stefano and his team go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. Wonderfully fresh local seafood including wild oysters, and mussels are a must! Very neat, clean and comfortable. Easy 100 meter walk to beaches.

Una struttura molto bella !
Unica pecca è il parcheggio che è solo quello pubblico nelle vie li vicino.
Ottimo il ristorante è la colazione!
Lo staff cordiale e professionale!
Posizione strategica per raggiungere la spiaggia a piedi!

in generale positivi, manca l ascensore.
la colazione un po'essenziale, ma forse a causa della recente riapertura dopo covid.

If you are looking for a place to stay close to the beach, this is it. The beaches are really close walking distance. Other than that, there is nothing else near by that is waking distance. It can get a little loud due to the club being near by.

We checked in early and luckily they were able to accommodate us. The rooms were on the ground floor and they were clean. The shower water pressure was ok, but the AC works great though. There is not much space in the room, but it’s really just for sleeping and showering. Our bathroom did not have a window or vent, but our friend’s bathroom had a window. They have black out curtains in the room. Someone else mentioned every room having a balcony, we did not have a balcony. We did have two chairs outside our room.

I’m not sure if it was due to the language barrier, but I was not given any information regarding the hotel except for parking, because I asked. We weren’t given The times for the restaurant, so we missed it twice. they do have a cafe bar so you can order cornetti and some drinks. The hotel ristorante is ok. Breakfast is the typical Italian cornetti type. They have cheese, ham and salami as well.

If you miss lunch or dinner, good luck finding a place to eat that’s waking distance. Not sure if it’s due to current events, but most of the restaurants appear to be closed. We weren’t given check out time, but we left early anyways. Someone mentioned they were given passes for lidos, but we did not.

The Hotel does offer parking, but it’s street parking. They give you a parking pass and you find parking around the hotel streets. Luckily we Found one and didn’t drive anywhere until we left.

We took a taxi to Gallipoli town center which was 15 euros. The taxi driver said 5 euros for each person so not sure how legit that is. Nonetheless, it’s only a 7 mins ride and was worth it for us.

I would recommend this hotel if your primary goal is to visit the beaches.

Hotel nuovo e ben tenuto. La formula mezza pensione ci ha consentito anche di apprezzare l’ottima qualità del ristorante dell’hotel. La nostra camera era molto grande è dotata di tutti i confort. Anche la posizione è strategica perché permette in bicicletta sia di raggiungere le spiagge più belle del golfo di Gallipoli, sia di raggiungere il centro storico dove la notte si concentra tutta la movida della zona.

L'hotel Risberg è stata veramente una bellissima sorpresa. Viaggio molto e soltanto poche volte sono rimasto così positivamente impressionato dal servizio e dalla gentilezza dello staff! Un piacevole soggiorno che consiglio assolutamente.

Wir haben die drei Wochen im Hotel Risberg *** genossen. Gebucht haben wir nur Zimmer Frühstück.
Jedoch hat uns das Restaurant zu jeder Zeit (fast jeden Abend) auf regionale Spezialitäten hingewiesen, beraten und auch zubereitet.
Mein einziger (-) Punkt; Man spricht nicht Deutsch.

hotel moderno a due passi dal mare!ma per il centro consiglio l'auto,o la bici se vi piace pedalare.noi abbiamo soggiornato a giugno ed ara tranquillo.ma penso che in alta stagione sia difficile trovare parcheggio
comunque e' l'hotel che vorrei ogni volta che vado in vacanza.

I enjoyed all about It. The seafood I and my guests chose was excellent in terms of quality and the way it was presented. In particular I loved the 'Trittico di mare' starter but everything was delicious from the saute' di cozze to the main course, the second and the dessert - a flavoursome chocolate and hazelnut Spumone (a local icecream). The meal was accompanied by a very nice rose' wine made locally. The place was lovely, classy, very clean and welcoming. The waiter was obviously very experienced as he knew what he was doing contributing to customer satisfaction by being effective, helpful, easy to find and friendly. Everything was easy and perfectly done and it was good value for money too. They also offer a take-away service at the bar in case youlive nearby (in the Baia Verde) and prefer home-dining, a Pizzeria zone for more casual dining and a lovely 'al fresco' lounge. Overall I can say I'd definitely go back very happily.

Hotel situato a pochi minuti a piedi dalle spiagge di Baia verde. Ci siamo stati in Agosto. La zona è molto caotica e adatta prevalentemente ad una clientela molto giovane. Malgrado il periodo l'hotel si è dimostrato un oasi tranquilla.

Hotel ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista!

Ottimi gli alberghi prenotati !!!

The hotel is in Baia Verde, a few minutes drive to Gallipoli. It is very close to fantastic beaches. The room is clean, new and comfortable. There is a balcony. Staff is friendly and breakfast is very good. Only problem there is no lift to the floors.
