Dreadfully disappointing

Cons:

The bathroom was poorly equipped. There was very little room for toiletries or to put damp towels. The shower door didn’t seal do water ran out on to the floor. The shower basin/plug was blocked so the water level quickly rose - we had to take the plug out, which was slimy/disgusting. The carpet in the room was unclean and so the room smelled very ‘musty’. Overall, we were extremely disappointed - the room was described as ‘comfort’ - the price for two nights was far too expensive.

Great as a stopover if traveling, some shops and restaurants close buy if required

Godt hotel udenfor centrum med gode busforbindelse
Pros:

Godt hotel der ikke ligger i bycentrum. Flere buslinier holder lige uden for døren. Dejligt værelse. Rigtig god morgenmad.

Travelling through
Pros:

Travelling from Paris to Nordic, we decided to stay one night in Paderborn and found this good offer on line. We decided to buy breakfast at the hotel while afterwards we should have taken it in the city.

Elsen Hotel
Pros:

Not our first choice when staying in Elsen. We arrived at 3pm and reception appeared to closed. There was no respons to the bell but we found kitchen staff to chase management. Apparently the reception closes at 2pm, even though check in is after 3pm. We were not too impessed with our check in but the room was comfortable. The hotel is about. 1k from Elsen centre. We went out to visit family and came back just before 10pm. The hotel front door was locked. We rang the bell just before we saw a small notice to use the "night" door. The manager did not seem impressed that we used the bell. We were not told about the night door at check in. We asked where the bar/beergarden was and were told it was closed. The breakfast was excellent at an extra €8 per person. There was a €5 charge for guaranteed parking and we paid this as we were told that the free parking at the rear might be full when we returned. We will probably not use this hotel again.

valgte hotellet pga. beliggenhed, mulighed for motion, p-plads og restaurant. Venligt personale, godt værelse, nem parkering (der dog kostede € 5). Restauranten viste sig kun at være til grupper på forudbestilling, så jeg måtte på tur i byen, hvilket ikke var ideen med at booke et værelse, hvor der var restaurant på stedet. Udmærkede omgivelser og motionsrum

Pros:

Etwas außerhalb von Paderborn gelegenes Hotel.
Schöne Zimmer,sehr sauber mit großem TV.Leckeres Frühstück.
Nicht durchgängig besetzte Reception. Restaurant nur mit kleinen Gerichten ;geringe Auswahl.
Nettes freundliches Personal; Beanstandung (fehlende FB für TV) wurde umgehend behoben.

Hotel, dass sich tatsächl. um seine Gäste kümmert
Pros:

Das Hotel war ausgebucht. Ich bekam das letzte Standardzimmer. Am Folgetag stellte mir das Hotel ohne Aufpreis ein großes Komfortzimmer zu Verfügung. Dafür Herzlichen Dank!
