Lovely property that is a convenient walk to downtown Calistoga
Pros:

The room we received exceeded my expectations. I'm still in shock. It had a fireplace with a seating area, an outdoor veranda and a whirlpool tub. It was spacious and we had no problem fitting our luggage in. They include wine glasses in the room in case you bring back a bottle from a local winery but they also have bottles of wine you can purchase. The room was very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was very nice. We walked a few minutes to dinner at Lovina in downtown Calistoga around the corner. It was a lovely experience and I'd stay here again if I ever go back up to Napa.

Cons:

The only drawback was the traffic noise from the street starting at around 5am, but there's not much that can be done about that as it was a weekday and people have to go to work.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely room close to everything in town. Friendly staff, light breakfast options brought to your room. Fab coffee in room as well as free coffee in reception. Room service every day with fresh towels and coffee etc topped up. Enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

I kept hearing a tv late into evening for 2 nights luckily had ear plugs but was disappointed as first night was quiet ! Think free bottled water in room should be provided at price point

Good base to explore the wine region
Pros:

Staff friendly and helpful. Original room booked was small but the staff had already thought about this before our arrival and offered a complimentary upgrade to a larger room on checking in

Cons:

The original room had a private outside space but our upgraded room didn’t. Although this didn’t spoil our stay we would have enjoyed a private outdoor space
