We would stay there again. The location was so convenient.
Pros:

The breakfast was good and the location was spot on.

Cons:

The rooms were just a bit small. We had a cozy one bedroom. There was not enough room in the bathrooms to store or put out your items, ex any medication hand creams, toothbrush and toothpaste.

It is not about being a sensitive sleeper. The rooms next to the street are far too noisy.

Beautiful, large room with lots of nice details such as the Occitane toiletries

Couldn’t figure out the heater but I’m sure the staff would have helped if I had asked.

Absentee staff, stupid water choices and forgetting to rinse cleaning products is what the Bergson is all about.
Pros:

The property has big rooms and attempts to be charming and relaxing with fountains.

Cons:

The unit above has a loud air conditioner that leaked and dripped heavily !! No staff was available when I checked in. They were rude to me over text message. They do not assume the customer is right.

Overall, our stay was very nice. Superb location. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff.
Pros:

The breakfast was overall very good.

Cons:

However, the eggs were ice cold; it would have been better to either warm them up a bit, or have them at room temperature.
The bathroom fan seemed to be on for hours above or in the next room, so it was hard to fall asleep.

The cottage was nice with our own entrance gate to the front yard of our cottage. There was an outdoor fireplace in the yard just outside our bedroom…. They served our wonderful breakfast in our room on time. The breakfast was great. We were like spoiled kids! Thank you to the Bergson management team. We enjoyed our stay there. We come back again May 14, 2026. Violet

Just the bathroom air vent circulator had a loud sound when we tuned the light on. You can check what I’m referring to… about the noise when you turn on the light in the bathroom.

Staff and service were great but the outside noise was bothersome.
Pros:

Really enjoyed the continental breakfast brought me in the morning and the beds were comfy.

Cons:

The bathroom was very small and the walls were paper thin. We could all the cars on the road. My husband is a light sleeper, so hearing them early in the morning was bothersome.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Also I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with the homemade baked goods being delivered straight to my room every morning.

Cons:

Prior to my stay I made several attempts to reach someone to discuss extending my stay but was usable to speak with anyone. My booking agent even tried to call with no avail. I was finally able to book another night a couple of days prior to my arrival. Also didnt care for the restricted timeframe of being able to chance my reservation. I made reservations a year ago and was never able to cancel if needed.

Wonderful location and very good value
Pros:

Our room (108) is small but super cute. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The rooms come with a really nice continental breakfast that is delivered to your room. You pick your choices the night before and it shows up at the time you choose. The wine shop next door provides a complimentary wine tasting for Bergson guests. Downtown starts like two blocks away. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Our room had an outdoor gas fireplace in the courtyard but it wasn’t working. I made the staff aware of the issue.
