Good pet friendly hotel close to all amenities. Nice varied food and wine selection in restaurant. Convenient secure car parking. Staff very pleasent and accomodating. Great historical location to visit the Somme area.

Fabulous hotel in excellent town/area with a superb restaurant

All the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurant is excellent and we had some superb meals.

Lovely old building, loads of character, rooms in annex adjacent and comfortable . Staff are lovely and work really hard to make you at home. Hotel restaurant good, the lamb ribs to die for.

Parking in Montreuil not easy but hotel has own small carpark on first come basis.

Lovely hotel. Part 16th Century. The owner and all the staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant meals were excellent and we were spoilt for choice at breakfast time.

A comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet offered is very nice with lots of choice. Access to walking the ramparts and the citadel is 1/2 block away - unfortunately the citadel was closed while we were visiting due to wind.

Excellent hotel amazing restaurant only thing it lacked was air con in the room.

Fantastic, lovely food, welcoming staff, but the room was very hot and on opening the windows there was a lot of road noise from the cobbled street below

Thought the restaurant was great food superb,Breakfast was excellent service again good. Hotel was let down by the rooms which were clean and tidy but a bit tired and in need of refurb with plug points in short supply and the corridors leading to the rooms need redecorated. The showers were definitely not what should be expected from a 90 euro a night hotel and in general the bathrooms were not up to scratch. In summary rooms should be overhauled and modernised or prices should come down.

A delightful specious hotel in an historic property with interesting features, well renovated and modernised. Pleasant modern bedrooms with showers not baths. The restaurant, where Monsieur le Patron presides, has a good reputation locally with excellent food and not expensive wines but leisurely if willing service. Breakfast is amazing for €11: squeeze your own fresh oranges if you wish, boil your own eggs, choose from bacon and excellent scrambled eggs (not like the overcooked dried ones you get in UK hotels), cheeses, jams including marmalade. There is a machine for making a dozen types of excellent coffees. Delightful patio to the rear and good wifi reception throughout the complex. Some 45 miles drive from Calais.
