Very pretty place. Lovely helpful staff
We liked the hotel very much. It seems to be family owned and run (and gives that special feeling). All the persons at the reception have been exceptionally helpful with suggestions and comments. The location is very good too. The only reason for not giving it the top rating comes the fact that the rooms (at least the one we had) is poorly sound insulated and we could cl.early hear what the people in the next room talked about. Fortunately they were no night-owls and the talking stopped around midnight.
It has the feel of an old established family hotel; minutes away from San Vitale and Galla Placidia. The staff were attentive but not obtrusive and extremely helpful with advice on restaurants, locations, best timing of sites etc. as well as being very welcoming and friendly.
I had no problems.
The staff were excellent. The location excellent, and walking distance from all the places in the town that we wanted to visit. Beautiful garden.

The room's sound-insulation let us hear what people were talking in the next room - if it were not for this I would have given it the label Very Good to Excellent.

Great location, comfortable room, beautiful garden and friendly staff
The walls are indeed bit thin and being an old building the sound does travel. But it didn’t bother me that much I didn’t come to Ravenna to sleep in
Top-Lage. Gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gemütliche und einladende Lobby, perfekt zum Lesen. Kleiner Garten hinter dem Haus. Das Rad konnte ich im Innenhof abstellen

Clean and spacious room on the second floor. Nice atrium. Location of the hotel is very central.
No warm water in the shower! Also, you have to bend to get to the shower and you can’t have the shower end high enough.
You can hear the noise to the room very clear.
At breakfast there was no one to clean the tables at first, felt like there was too much to do for only one staff member.
From the balcony, you could not see anything but rooftops, dissapointment.
