GP weekend stay
Pros:

A quiet and roomy space to return to after a day out exploring Melbourne. Nicely appointed and with an excellently presented central garden and pool area. Comfortable beds and good showers. Hosts were friendly and communicative. Price very competitive compared with the in-CBD hotels.

Cons:

To access the venue, you have to do the ‘Melbourne thing’ and venture down a laneway of the type we’d never go down in Sydney. While the location is good, it’s a bit of a way from the nearest convenience store and simple food (there are some very nice looking restaurants close by though). The room could also do with some TLC - it was clean and functional but minor maintenance issues detracted from the experience.

Great spot close to City
Pros:

Good location. Close to Melbourne Museum and nice walk towards the city. Carlton gardens is close by. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for the purpose of my trip. Plenty of options including trams just a short walk near the apartments. Would definately stay here again.
