Couldn't ask for a better location for the price.
Pros:

Such a great location, spacious room and all the amenities you could need. The staff were amazing and the ability to check in early and check out late was extremely helpful and very much appreciated.

Cons:

The carpet has seen better days to be honest. But it's an old building.

Great location, old style comfort.
Pros:

Loved the location of the Royal Gardens. So handy to all transport and the iconic Gertrude, Brunswick and Smith streets. The property is large and, whilst dated, very comfortable.

Cons:

It is a small thing but the pillows were old and as hard as bullets. Some new pillows would contribute to a reasonable sleep.

A really run down place not worth the money
Pros:

Nice beds

Cons:

Very run down, a very messy balcony, not clean and not enough Chiara and no table. Asked for it and they said to fix but nothing happened during our stay. No elevator to our floor
