Lovely heritage listed and beautifully restored Georgian manor, with well appointed and very comfortable rooms. Great location on the River Derwent, within walking distance to the town centre.

Nice hotel in small suburb of hotel
Pros:

The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. The staff made a lot of nice personal touches to improve the quality of our stay. Photos make it look like it is more rural than it is, it is situated in a small suburb next to an intersection and a bridge. Overall the place was lovely and nice and I would stay here again.

Stay hete!
Pros:

Great place in a small town near Hobart. It's a gateway to the only road into the SW quadrant of the state and into the Southwestern NP/Tasmanian Wilderness/Fraser-Gordon NP.

Food is sensational, and Tim is fantastic as is Mandy. Found it on hotels.com, and it turned out to be one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Out of Our Expectations!!!
Pros:

We stayed in a couple of 5-star hotels in Tasmania, but none of them can compare with Woodbridge on the Derwent in terms of surroundings, food, services, etc. Here we got 6-star personalized service, and their food is as good as those 3 starred Michelin restaurants, yet the price is extremely reasonable! We felt like being at home, so comfortable and relaxed.
