Nice, newer hotel
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised by this newer hotel. Room was small but well designed. Did not enjoy the glass bathroom door (no privacy). Location is nice in a residential area and on the river—there is a walking path. I used the gym located across the street in the Hilton residences.

Perfect stay for us.
Pros:

Amazing 2 night stay. Cannot say enough about the experience. From the friendly staff. Dinner at the Wakatipu grill, the view of the lake and mountains to the kindness showed to us. We will definitely return.

An excellent stay in a fantastic location.
Pros:

We booked three rooms for our family group and stayed in a King Deluxe Lakeview room. The room was lovely and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchenette and an exceptionally comfortable bed.
The view of the lake was absolutely magnificent.

Cons:

The room could benefit from a bit of refurbishment, particularly the curtains and carpet.
Having said that, it certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment of the hotel or its wonderful location.

Solo start to group NZ trip
Pros:

Beautiful location and great room. Very clean and spacious. Loved the block out curtains for getting over jet lag. Reception staff were all lovely (Mei, Lara, Mona). Breakfast was basic but adequate. Generally quiet. Wakatipu Grill next door was very nice with good food.

Pros:

The location was convenient and the scenery was fantastic. The rooms were very nicely set out and clean and staff were friendly.

Cons:

The hotel has a serious issue with their hot water system, it is completely inadequate for the size of the hotel and the number of patrons. The first couple of nights we had to wait until about 1am for the water to heat back up enough to have a barely warm shower before bed. The staff were all apologetic and friendly about it, but it was obviously a common complaint and out of there control to be able to fix it. Maintenance was sent to the room and supposedly fixed it by adjusting the tempering valve. (it didn't) we just made sure we showered before 7.30pm. Hilton Hotel room water temp should sit at 46°-49°. I purchased a thermometer and tested it the second evening of our stay, at approximately 8.30pm it reached a maximum of 16°, hot water tap only. For the amount of money I was paying per night for the room the minimum I expected was to at least be able to have a hot shower each night.
Oh, and the wifi works great in the lobby but disappears when you get to your room.

Staff worked in the restaurant were so friendly and so willing to help, especially Chef from Sri Lanka, he was really nice to my wife and myself. He made us felt like we eat at home that comfortable cossy.

Pros:

Die Betten war sehr bequem, nicht zu weich and schön breit. Parke war möglich in einer Tiefgarage für ein extra Gebühr. Das Frühstuck war echt vielseitig and lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
