Peu de service et un petit déjeuner catastrophique : pas de buffet, juste un choix ultra restreint à la carte, pas de yaourt disponible. … et un service à minima.
Accès très compliqué : la navette nous a déposé au bout de la route : on a dû finir à pied par la plage, et un scooter est venu chercher nos bagages.
Les chambres sont spacieuses mais très sombres.

We stayed at this property for seven nights after booking and paying in full through Booking.com.

Based on our personal experience, the room did not fully match the standard we expected from the listing. During our stay, we documented several issues, including:

- exposed or improvised electrical wiring in the room
- visible moisture damage and mold traces in the bathroom
- damaged and stained towels
- humidity-related wall damage
- additional maintenance and equipment issues

These conditions were documented with photographs during our stay.

What disappointed us even more was the complaint handling process. We contacted Booking.com several times in writing, provided the requested booking information, photos, and further documentation, but in our experience no meaningful response was provided regarding the specific issues raised.

This was our personal experience, and unfortunately it did not match the expectations created by the property presentation. We recommend that future guests review all available information carefully before booking.

Gym kunne vært annerledes. Det er ikke spinning sykkel for oppvarming. Kunne vært bedre utvalg av frivekter. Litt dårlig i forhold i at det er 4 stjerner hotell. De kunne også hatt tråsykkel utleie, så man kommer seg litt rundt i området .

Falta iluminação nos quartos e algumas coisas precisam de manutenção (como os lustres laterais da cama que estavam rasgados.)
É preciso melhorar a luz geral dos quartos e acrescentar uma luz de leitura também.

1. I booked a large suite for myself and my son. Before booking, I emailed Chivapuri to ask if there was a seperate bed for my son, Chivapuri replied and confirmed there was 2 beds. I was happy to book.
2. A 'suite' is defined for a family. It is different (and more expensive) than a normal standard room which only has one bed.
3. A suite therefore has extra beds to accomodate a family and the price would include the extra bed.
4. Upon arrival I was shown 2 suites both the same and was shocked that the new manager asked me to pay 700 baht for the bedding for the extra bed. I did not want to argue. Please note suite already had a 2nd bed so I was paying for the bedding.
5. We stayed for 4 nights and upon checking I was asked to pay 700 x 4 nights = 2800. I refused and this led to an arguement.
6. My points were that there should be no charge as I had pre paid for a suite for a family. I was willing to pay 700 for extra bedding but this was not replaced every day so why 2800.
7. I am a lawyer and this was embarrassing to my son so I paid 1800 and feel bad having to do so.
8. This is wrong and no matter how Chivapuri reply they simply saw an opportunity to cheat me. I understand after Covid they have problems but this is not the Thai way and the previous manager Pat was excellent and would never do this.
9. Keep my money as sadly we will never stay at Chivapuri again. I have the email where you confirn extra bed, no charge, and when I arrive you cheat me.
10. I warn others to be careful and check before you book to make sure there are no 'extras'

I will never stay there again.

Litter on the beach, litter on the resort site, bottles and other junk not cleared away, poor levels of resort/hotel maintannence, very shabby in places.
