Apartment 52

Been this Apartment many years. The service and management were top notch, they all very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect right next to Connaught place and metro station. Walking distance to Sikh temple.
The room is roomy and comfortable, the rented was reasonable. Highly recommended for everyone.

The apartment is very near Connaught Place, two minutes walking distance and you will be in the shopping circular building and also full of tasty restaurants to choose from. Metro just a stone throw away. Superb location.
The apartment is clean and spacious, the staff are very helpful. Once it was late at night and I needed to get some things from the convenience store. One of the staff worried about my safety and insisted to go with me. When we returned to the apartment, he refused to take my tip and said he was glad to do it for any guest. What wonderful service.
The room facilities are good and more than adequate. TV, A/C and hot water are all working fine, no problem for me whatsoever.
The breakfast is simple but remember we are not staying in a 5 star hotel therefore we cannot be too fussy and expecting a lot. You get what you pay for.
Love this apartment. Unless the apartment was fully booked. I would stay there all the time when I visit New Delhi.

We stayed here for a week and it was the weirdest experience we ever had. When you enter the hotel at night, monkeys will follow you to the entrance so watch out for your stuff or they will steal it. Quite scary as well as we never expected so many monkeys to be in the middle of the city.
Also, one night we woke up because we heard a noise in front of the door and saw that one of the hotel employees was sleeping on a blanket right in front of our door...SUPER WEIRD!
The beds were clean but we had cockroaches there every day and the breakfast is tiny with no international option, just fruits and Indian food. As a European I am not used to eat spicy food in the morning, therefore I did not eat anything besides the fruits for breakfast. Needs improvement.

Hi5 Apartments 52 has 4-star rating – which is why we were completely shocked with our experience.

Before arrival, the innkeeper (George) told us "the apartment is quiet & there is no noise going through." Guess what!? There's BAR downstairs & music was super LOUD until 3AM in the morning!

The unit we were in was, to put it nicely, an absolute sh1t-hole. OLD, STINK & DIRTY! Especially the bathroom was overwhelmed with a strong odor, smells very BAD! Water drained out of the glasses & it was flooded after shower, tower lying in water, faulty electricity etc. WORSE ever!

When we couldn’t sleep and protested. They said “take it or leave it. This is exactly what you paid for!” AWFUL HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

So we were forced to stay the length our full paid (4 days). Our stay was the most unpleasant, a complete wasted week of hard-earned money. The entire week was tense, unfriendly and one large disappointment. NOT recommended at all!!

1、公寓樓下正是一間音樂人聲鼎沸的Bar，和我們當初與業者詢問民宿是否安靜的狀況明顯不符! 加上，臥室床邊隔牆竟然是電梯升降梯! 整夜機器不定時運作的噪音使我們完全無法安眠
2、廁所太過老舊! 陣陣異味不說，糟的是盥洗過後的淋浴間一側是浴簾一側是玻璃，水竟然從玻璃側的下方滲漏出來，造成淋浴後滿地的水
3、體驗過這輩子從未搭過的極窄小電梯，必須開鐵門再開兩片木門才能進入，三個人加一咖行李已是極限，住宿的期間還有2天電梯是故障無法使用的狀態
4、民宿內客廳大部份的燭光燈泡都無法點亮，僅剩的一顆一開始閃爍，後來就乾脆罷工不亮了！
5、最最最令我們感到氣憤與生氣的是，在我們跟Hi 5 apartment 反映狀況後，對方竟回應說: 我們要嘛選擇接受這樣的房型，或是付更多錢換住另一間房! Why? 保持民宿各項設備的正常運作，是業者應負的責任，不是嗎？甚至允諾會幫我們更新燈泡&補充衛生紙等要求，直到我們離開公寓都沒有派人前來處理(氣!)

強烈建議大家"不要"選擇這間民宿!

Apartment 52 is a nice and cozy hotel, it’s in the heart of New Delhi (Connaugh palace) it is very centrally located, near to metro station and Market, have lot of good shops around the area and public transportation available

Quite a Horrible state of facts in this Airbnb property during my stay in mid July 2017.

Such severe were the shortcomings of basic amenities, which remained unresolved during my stay for the first 02 nights, I was compelled to cancel my third night stay.

- Washroom overflowing with water from the shower area (If i may recollect, it's Room No. 201) Though they changed my room after my request, but the rest of the saga continued as below mentioned.

- Split AC's in the rooms not cooling at all.

- Wi-Fi gets disconnected every minute and thereafter remains disconnected.

- Lack of Drinking water in the room
(Just half litre bottle given at the time of check-in and thereafter, a guest needs to keep on asking for water multiple times throughout the day,

- Basic amenities for ordering Tea/Coffee and a pack of biscuits was not available, even if one is willing to pay for it.

- Breakfast buffet never laid out as claimed on their listing. Excuse given was low occupancy.

They just give you 2 - 3 options on the phone in the morning and Breakfast was then served in the room. The quality of breakfast no way being upto the standard.

- Multi-pin Adaptors not available for laptop charging, couldn't even charge my laptop in urgency. I consider it to be a basic necessity in the current times.

All of the above mentioned issues have had serious repurcussions during my stay making it extreme uncomfortable and hassled.

- The only great thing was it's location. Lively and buzzing area of CP, just at a walking distance of 5 mins - Metro Stations, Restaurants, Clubs, Shopping, Palika Bazaar, etc.,

Only after raising the issue with Airbnb, they finally intervened and refunded me the third night stay, almost after a month of exchange of mails and messages.

We visited there in August 2016. It is quite a lot far away from the New Delhi International airport. Located at a very prime location just next to the Instituto Cervantes, Embassy of Spain. Also the main Road is just 2 min walk away. Mall, restaurant, cinema hall, market just around 5 - 7 mins walk. The rooms the spacious, suite like. There is no restaurant, one have to ask for food in advance and have to mention how many heads are in the group. they will cook as requirement. Foods were tasty. Rooms has small fridge installed and few rooms has microwave and kitchen facilities also are there. rooms tariff was 4k - 5k range.
Washrooms are nice..separate bath cabinet is in every washroom. normal, warm, hot water are available. on can ask for airport pickup and drop, they will arrange that(obviously cost effective). Wifi is good...phn in every room.
The only thing i dislike that for two person they only provide 2 small 500 ml water bottle atleast for that price water should be available. but if you want to free water then have to go to dinning area with bottles and fill it up by yourself.
Beds were soft and cozy.
All over its a good stay.

It is an apartment located at a prime location providing a comfortable and private stay. So there's very few areas for review. Breakfast is provided but has very limited spread.The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I stayed here from 9th march to the 15th of march. this is my third visit since the last 2 years. what brings me back to this property? well first of all it is the location. nothing can beat it where location is concerned, just a couple of minutes walk to the nearest metro & a few minutes away from Shivaji Stadium Metro, where the airport express stops. So it is easy to arrive and depart using the airport express. Then comes the room. I usually stay in the large spacious suite room, which is comfortable and has all the basic amenities. The housekeeping service is good. The front desk is non intrusive. Overall this place gives me the impression of me renting an apartment in an upscale building. The security is good and this is the most safe area to actually stay. There is a bit of noise with some construction going on in the side building but I never faced any problem for the 1 week that i stayed here. If you are looking for 24 hours room service and food and beverage options in this hotel, then this is not for you. I found it really easy to step out and explore and eat in the nearby restaurants. This is central Delhi, so you have a huge choice available.
The wi fi can be a bit spotty, but when I complained about it, it was taken care of.

This is not your usual hotel, instead it is more of a private apartment discreetly located in a prime location. Just a few minutes walk to the nearest metro. If you like the hustle and bustle of Delhi, then Connaught Place is the place to be, everything well located around you. I stayed for 1 week at the suite which is a bedroom, which is partitioned off from a small seating area and a small pantry area at the entrance. The room was clean and well kept. The breakfast was average and I skipped it most days. But what I liked most was the feel of the place. It was like renting a private apartment in a residential building with good security.

Great location on a quiet street near connaght and Janpath, still this hotel seems over priced. The room was clean and comfortable, but if you are not affraid of the crowded, noisy, colorful Pahar Gange area, you can get the same quality hotel for a third of the price.
Especially annoying was how much they over charged for a taxi to the airport. In fact twice as much as I was asked to pay 2 weeks later through another hotel.

The hotel is located very close to major tourist attractions and the Delhi's main metro station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The area around the hotel is busy till late so you feel safe at night. The hotel it self is very clean and staff are excellent. Only let down was the charge for mineral water which wasn't mentioned anywhere in the room and also a lot of the taxi drivers don't know where the hotel is, so you usually have to get off at the main road and walk in. Otherwise this is an excellent hotel and it is kept very clean.

Nothing spectacularly great or wrong with this place. However, I think it is somewhat over priced for what you get.
Conveniently located although the rooms are small. Everything worked okay, except for the wifi, which was occasionally non-functional. If you do have laundry done or any other service, make sure that if you pay for it when they deliver the laundry to your room that you make note of having paid for it and let the desk know .. that way there is no confusion when you check out as to whether or not you paid that bill!!
Breakfast is average.
You'll pay a lot for them to arrange taxis for you or airport transportation.. you can take care of those for a lot less money yourself.
I did enjoy hearing the temple bells ringing at the Hanuman Temple behind the hotel.
The issue with staying in or near Connaught Circle is it is like "Tourist Central" and you'll get hassled a lot by touts trying to lead you to a special store, a different "cheaper" restaurant, or whatever. Ignoring them isn't as effective as simply telling them to go away.
Lots of decent places to eat in the area and easy to access to transportation by subway, tuk tuk or taxi.

The location of this hotel is excellent and the price is reasonable given the prices of hotels in Delhi. We did, however, have serious problems with the plumibımg? The first day the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Since there were two of us, this resulted in quite a puddle. We asked to change rooms, The hotel complied, but we had the same problem in this room as well. And the staff didn't seem terribly concerned.

When my friend had booked the hotel for our two day Delhi trip for the Grand Prix, I was a little apprehensive. But the hotel took me by a pleasant surprise. It is conveniently located about one km from the Shivaji Stadium Metro Station on the Airport Express Route.

Upon reaching the hotel, we were upgraded to their suite. The room was very well kept, clean and complete with all amenities that you normally expect in a five star.

They have a small restaurant which serves a decent morning breakfast with a couple of Indian and continental dishes.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Best part of the hotel is the location. Centrally located in CP, you are not far away from all the action of Delhi. Be it the Rajpath or Chandni Chowk, the Red Fort or Delhis night life, you could reach any place within half an hour in normal traffic.
If you would like to sample some Delhi Chaat, go to the stall just 2 mins walk from the hotel.

A boutique hotel, with five star comfort.

This is my second stay in Apartment 52 -- the first one was about 6 months back.
This small hotel is very clean, the rooms are excellent, the service very good -- on the whole an excellent experience and value for money wise one of the best.
For those having work in central delhi -- it makes sense to stay here.
To be noted are - there are no restaurants though the a pretty good breakfast is provided. But I got some decent food served in the room from a restaurant nearby.

I have been apartment52 every year.I love to stay here everytime. Because of warm welcome, friendly manager and staffs. Price is much more reasonably. And room is clean. Location of this hotel is in central Delhi. It's close to CP and its shops and restaurants, with good security, internet. I'm highly recommended this hotel.

I had a very comfortable , safe and pleasant stay in Apartment 52: staff was very helpful, friendly and polite: they upgraded me to a spacious, clean and very comfortable suite and also brought me early breakfast (5:30) before my ByCycle tour. They also checked in the morning if I was awake for my other early taxi appointments: well appreciated. Hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere but if you are looking for a good place to stay 200 metres from Connaught Circle, Apartment 52 is highly recommended!

My husband and I spent a few days in Delhi prior to the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels journey, and it was a wonderful experience. Great location. The staffs is very helpful on giving the information needed.
We enjoyed Indian food, which has genuine traditional Indian style.
The service was great, everyone was friendly and respectful and was ready with a smile. :D

The bath room is relatively simple, compared to other 3-4 star hotels, but still a good one.
It was a pleasant stay. Excellent service and staff is a perfect symbol of hospitality industry.

Location can't be beat. Very central. The internet is very slow if you are even able to connect. This would be a great place if they would take care of the little things like the shower door that does not close properly. Hot water should be available for showers at all times but is not. Internet is a must. Front onto desk was very good and very helpful with everything. I will give the hotel another try soon.
