A próxima vez reservo direto com o hotel

Ótima localização, tem restaurante no hotel e entregam no quarto. Fizemos muitas coisas a pé .

Cons:

Quem reserva pelo booking pega o andar sem internet e quartos mais antigos , consequentemente sem tv. ( tem tv mas não funciona) .Estava com criança e não tinha como colocar um desenho para assistir. Fiquei bem decepcionada com esse ponto

Solid budget stay in Cinelândia – does the job without breaking the bank

If you are looking for a straightforward budget hotel in Rio, Hotel OK gets the job done as long as you keep your expectations realistic.

Check-in & Service Checking in as a foreigner was a bit time-consuming due to the detailed passport paperwork required at front desk. Since we booked via Booking.com, it would be a huge improvement if they offered an online pre-check-in form to speed things up. On the plus side, the housekeeping team was fantastic. Towels were changed daily, and toilet amenities (soap and shampoo) were consistently topped up. Just keep in mind that due to Rio’s intense humidity, nothing dries quickly in the room!

The Room The room was basic and simple. There were no drinking cups provided, but it did come equipped with a mini-fridge, which was handy. The shower had great water pressure, which was a big plus after a long day in the city.

Breakfast Breakfast is simple but entirely sufficient to start your day. While there were no fresh vegetables, there was plenty of fruit, along with a wide selection of breads, cheeses, ham, scrambled eggs, and sweets. Tea and coffee are available, and the breakfast staff are polite and very quick at clearing tables.

Location & Safety The location is super convenient for transit—both Carioca and Cinelândia stations (Metro and VLT tram) are nearby, and getting an Uber is very easy. The area isn't the safest part of Rio, but as long as you stay alert, don't flash excessive jewelry, and avoid drawing attention to yourself, you'll be fine. Just make sure to avoid walking around the area after dark.

Overall, a great value option for travelers wanting an affordable stay in Centro without breaking the bank!

Pros:

El hotel es antiguo, tiene algunas habitaciones remodeladas con mejores condiciones, las que aún no están remodeladas no son tan cómodas. La atención de Michael fue muy buena, buscó siempre las mejores opciones para nosotros. Es una ubicación central ara el turismo aunque a zona centro en general se siente muy insegura

Cons:

El ruido de la calle es muy fuerte, adicional se escucha todo en los cuartos laterales y el sonido de las puertas, es difícil descansar con tan mal aislamiento del ruido, el desayuno está bien pero en una estancia larga es poco variado.
