Pool area was great

Cons:

Location - car is needed for the stay, almost impossible to take walk around, - train track only 20-30 meters away, disturbing, - at the start they locaded un in a room in another building ( 200 meters away from the hotel and away from the pool area and the restaurant) and we had to pay more 40 Euros more pr night to be locaded in the hotel building on ground floor, no elevator, now window ( exept tiny one near the ceiling, useless, ) price at the bar is above limits, 15 Euro for Gin and Tonic

Magnifique hôtel, très propre, avec des suites spacieuses, parfaitement équipées et une vue incroyable ! un personnel disponible et très sympathique, un parking pour les clients pratique, des transats et lits à baldaquin très appréciables au bord de la Piscine, une plage à proximité et une superbe terrasse pour le petit-déjeuner
Super séjour !

Cons:

toutefois le petit déjeuné devrait être plus varié et de meilleure qualité au regard du standing de l’établissement.

Relaxing for a few days while touring the island
Pros:

Access to the beach was easy, the pool area was very nice, the staff at reception were fun and friendly, the live piano music on the weekend for breakfast was a nice touch, good parking, and we had delicious pizzas at the pizza restaurant on the first night.

Cons:

Service at the main hotel restaurant (not the pizza restaurant) was a bit hit and miss. The trains are loud (tracks behind the hotel). Smoke from the neighbours' balcony came into our room so we had to keep the windows and doors closed.

Katastrophe, es sollte Entspannung nach einer Sizilien Rundreise sein!

Das einzig angenehme an dem Aufenthalt im Sporting Club war der Hotelstrand mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen.

Cons:

Am besten, wenn man sich entweder am Strand aufgehalten hat oder ganz weggefahren ist. Denn direkt an der Hauswand des Appartements Stromboli fährt regelmäßig von 7.00 – 23.00 die Eisenbahn, bisschen höher ist die Schnellstraße und direkt an der Terrasse eine Durchgangsstraße zu den weiteren Dorfbewohnern. Die große Terrasse mit dem gebuchten Meerblick der, durch den Lattenzaun gestört ist, kann man praktisch nicht für Entspannungszwecke nutzen.
Wie die Superbewertung zustande kommt ist mir ein Rätsel. Das Appartement Stromboli wie beschrieben groß, aber kaum Steckdosen, Handbrause ohne Dichtung, Warmwasserspeicher undicht, d.h. kleine Wasserpfütze mitten im Badezimmer, die wir immer wieder weggewischt haben. Dazu Toilettenpapierhalter hängt in den Dübeln aus der Wand, Kopfkissen klobig. Das gebuchte Whirlpool konnte nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.
Das alles in einem 4 Sterne Hotel, für das wir sehr viel Geld bezahlt haben. Die Rezeption mäßig nett mit einem gelegentlichen, mehr erzwungenen Lächeln aber hilfsbereit. Die Dichtung an der Handbrause wurde eingesetzt, das Whirlpool trotzt des eifrigen Versuchs eines Mitarbeiters blieb ohne Wasser. Der tägliche Höhepunkt war das Frühstück. Was nie gefehlt hat, sind die kalten Kartoffeln in 4 verschiedenen Variationen, Kuss-Kuss und Reis mit Gemüse. Gebäck sehr sparsam in Form von kleinen, aufgebackenen, harten Brötchen. Obst nie wirklich frisch und wenn es mal Cannioli gab, dann nur für Frühaufsteher. Es fehlte immer was: entweder Teller, Kaffeetassen oder Toastbrot, oder, oder , oder.
Das Restaurantpersonal ungepflegt ohne Lächeln.
Tu Euch das nicht an, in diesem Hotel abzusteigen.

Überteuert, mangelnde Sauberkeit und nicht funktionierende Jacuzzis

Cons:

* Die Unterkunft war nicht sauber, miefiger Geruch und insgesamt schlecht gepflegt.
* Das Internet funktionierte nur sporadisch und war kaum zuverlässig nutzbar.
* Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einer Bahnstrecke. Bei jeder Zugdurchfahrt wackelt das Apartment spürbar, was sehr störend ist. Außerdem extrem hellhörig man hört jegliche Bewegung der Nachbarapartments
* Der private Jacuzzi, für den wir einen erheblichen Aufpreis bezahlt haben, war nicht funktionsfähig. Die Heizfunktion funktionierte trotz mehrfacher Versuche nicht.
* Auch andere Gäste berichteten uns, dass ihre Jacuzzis nicht funktionierten. Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass diese eher als Dekoration und Marketinginstrument dienen, um höhere Preise zu rechtfertigen.
* Besonders enttäuschend: Selbst nach einer angeblichen technischen Überprüfung war der Jacuzzi weiterhin verschmutzt und nicht nutzbar.
* Der Pool ist stark veraltet, und die Farbe blättert sichtbar ab.
* Trotz mehrfacher Beschwerden und fünf Tagen Geduld wurde keine zufriedenstellende Lösung angeboten.
* Das Frühstück war ebenfalls enttäuschend: Wer nach 9 Uhr kam, bekam häufig nur noch Reste. Das Buffet wurde nicht ausreichend aufgefüllt, und warme Speisen wie gebratener Speck waren bereits kalt.

Das Hotel und der Strand sind sehr zu empfehlen! Leider etwas abgelegen ( jedenfalls in der Nachsaison).
Pros:

Für einen reinen Badeurlaub sehr schön! Wer etwas aktiver sein möchte, braucht ein Fahrzeug, auch zum nächsten Bahnhof der etwa 3 km entfernt ist.

Cons:

WLAN ist nicht in allen Zimmern verfügbar.

Consigliato per vacanze estive da sogno

Struttura moderna, elegante, pulita, personale professionale, attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Stanze silenziose nelle ore notturne. Mare stupendo e spiaggia attrezzata. Piscina pulitissima. Ottima colazione e il ristorante è eccellente.
