Wenige Stunden nach meiner Buchung über expedia erhielt ich vom Hotel Genziana die Nachricht, daß das Hotel voll ist und ein Zimmer im benachbarten Hotel Passo Stelvio gebucht wurde.Diese Alternative aufgrund der Überbuchung hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Wir haben im Hotel Passo Stelvio zwar in einem sehr renovierungsbedürftigen Zimmer übernachtet, daß dafür aber einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den Ortler hatte. Zu Abend haben wir sehr gut im Hotel Genziana gegessen. Das Frühstück im Hotel Passo Stelvio war gut.
Insgesamt war es trotz der Überbuchung eine gute Erfahrung am Stilfser Joch.

Welcoming hotel with good food
Pros:

Great hotel with friendly staff in an ideal location. The evening meal was both filling and tasty at a good price. I'd definitely stay here again if passing.

Cons:

The patio area could do with a clear-out of old furniture and an upgrade, as it unfairly 'brings down' the general appearance.
