It was a shame there was no hot water in the shower. And there was no bacon or sausage for the Sunday breakfast buffet.
The hotel was quiet. In room fridge and TV worked. Bed was comfortable. A/C was glitchy. The entire lobby has a very strong sewer smell- upper floors a bit less, but still noticeable. Towels and linens are threadbare. Showers were cold on days they had many guests. This hotel is right outside the stadium tunnel and a 20min walk to stadium.

We have stayed here before and been satisfied. This time the conditions were much worse. The smell in the lobby was awful, the ice makers were out of service, we had no fire alarm in our room, there were no washcloths, no extra toilet paper, no soap, no hot water in the shower. The fitted sheet didn’t fit/ was off. The man at the front desk was courteous, it wasn’t his fault. Will be looking for a different hotel next time.

I had to change rooms. The original room didn’t gave a closet rack. The second room sheets had washed/dried blood stains and the air didn’t work well. Carpetin throughout was stained and poorly patched, 1 ice machine was functioning, the elevator broke down, and after I confirmed the stay, Expedia indicated the pool is out of service (non-refundable stay) because why should I pay more per person for premium rates for a sub-standard facility???
They call it a Best Western “Plus”. I wonder what the “plus” stands for. Because, after last night, I’d call it Best Western Minus. It’s a hotel, MINUS a working pool. Minus a working hot tub. Minus a working elevator. My personal favorite touch was the overwhelming smell of raw sewage. The guy at the front desk said “it would pass eventually” and that they “usually just run some hot water down the drains to help move it along”
It didn’t move along. But after an evening of smelling like I was staying inside a toilet, I DEFINITELY DID move along to a different hotel. One that didn’t smell like a toilet. And one that did offer amenities like…well….anything that worked.
Stayed here two nights with wife and kids. Two queen beds and the room felt large, spacious. Everything was exceptionally clean. The hotel was full but I never heard voices or doors shutting like I have in other hotels. The free breakfast was pretty good with a good selection.
Around 4:30 PM there was a smell of raw sewage in the hallways and the lobby. When we return later in the evening, it was so bad it made me sick to my stomach. Unbelievable a hotel of this quality would not be able to address this situation better than it did. I have to put towels at my door to try to block the smell from coming in.
Room had a very musty smell to it. The A/c was set to 76 when we arrived so the room was ridiculously warm. The front desk clerk reaked of weed and acted as though we interrupted him staring at his phone. The pull out couch was covered in white mold and horrible stains. There was no extra bedding in the room to be able to use it, and again the front desk guy ignored the 3 times we tried to call and when I went down to ask for it, was told it's locked up and I don't have a key. Overall, will not recommend to any family or friends. Will never stay again.
I have stayed at this location many times and enjoyed it. There must have been a change in ownership because the quality of the facility was extremely lacking. While clean, there must have been a water spill as there were fans in the lobby during my entire 4 day stay and it smelled as such. Only 1 ice machine on the ground floor and it was broken for 3 days. Pool was out of service as was one of the machines in the exercise room. The machine was wrapped in caution tape so I chose not to use any of the machines. No housekeeping service to swap out my towels, empty trash, or provide toilet paper. I had to do those things myself. Only 2 hangars in my room, when I requested more, they didnt have any and I had to wait for the manager the next day. In addition, on a weekend, they didnt have enough clean towels to replace the dirty ones I brought down. The excuse given was that the hotel sold out after I booked and they didnt have any more clean ones!
The business center had 2 computers, only 1 of which worked and the screen was poor quality, even after swapping screens.
At one point, the elevator also broke down but they were able to repair that quite quickly
The breakfast bar was quite good with plenty of offerings.
Staff was nice but the quality of the maintenance made for a poor stay.

Very nice stay… close to everything we needed
Their pool was closed for ‘maintenance’ though there was a sign on the pool door saying it was closed by the board of health. They said that it was on the website that the pool was unavailable. It did not say that when I made the reservation. My husband did check the website after we checked in and we had to click 3 different links to get to the right page and at the top under amenities it says pool, you have to scroll all the way to the very bottom of the page to see a little side note the says pool under maintenance. The elevator only worked part of the time. The ice machine was broken so no ice the whole time we were there. The overall look of the hotel itself was very rundown, like not nice looking. The staff was fake friendly which was just condescending. I asked for a partial refund and was told only corporate could issue that. I asked for the corporate number and was told they didn’t have that information at the front desk that I would have to look it up on their website. I called corporate and they said they don’t issue refunds only upper management at specific facilities can issue refunds. A very disappointing experience that will effect if we stay
We have been staying here for 11 years, several times a summer. The last few years the rooms are looking shabby and not real clean. Major disappointment thus time. Worse it's ever been.
