No frills budget lodging
Pros:

The selling point for Fragrance Hotel (Ocean View) is its location, as there are not many budget hotels in the western parts of Singapore. Proximity to nearby restaurants is also a plus. Kudos to the staff who tried their best to be helpful.

Cons:

While it is good to see the hotel upkeeping its premises, the odor of lacquering works done in the hallway is overpowering (and potentially harmful when inhaled) as our room doesn't have windows. Limited car park access.

Ideal for visits in this area, good quality for the price
Pros:

The location is good for commuting to INSEAD or NUS, perfect for me.

The room was a good size and mostly quiet. I heard nothing through the walls, ceiling or floor. Bathroom was a decent size and shower was easy to use and good water pressure. Kettle provided was good

Bed was very comfortable. I liked not having a window in the room as I enjoy sleeping in proper darkness.

Hair / body soap provided in a dispenser, did not really use as had already brought my own but it seemed ok.

Price to quality was good overall.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, 24/7 front desk.

Cons:

Bathroom / shower room is one wetroom and does not drain very well, floor stays wet long after shower used.

Unless the bathroom door is closed, which concerned me re damp and the floor staying wet, the noise from people above using the shower is quite considerable; seems to be something re how the pipes are configured, can hear the water sloshing through the system rather than noise of a shower itself. Can be shut out if closing the bathroom door but means floor may not dry and get wet feet going to toilet.

The walls, ceiling and floor are very good re sound, but the doors have a sizeable gap underneath and are not very good with sound and light coming underneath. Anything happening in the corridor or loud noise coming from rooms opposite is audible. Suggest that doors be improved.

As I was staying multiple nights, a mini-fridge would have been good so that I could keep some chilled drinks and some milk for making tea. The bin was also quite small. I do not like to get the room serviced too often as I feel it is wasteful re sheets etc but the bin started getting too full very quickly.

Keys to rooms have the hotel and room number added to them with stickers, which means if you lost the key then your room could be insecure. You can leave with the 24/7 reception on your way out but not my preference.

コンセントがマルチとUSBタイプがある
Pros:

コンセントがマルチタイプで、USBを差すのもあった。3軒ホテルがあるが、コンセントが1番困る問題で、いつもシンガポールに行く時は、シンガポール用のコンセントが必要な古いホテルも多いが、コンセントが良く。ツーベットをリクエスト通りで良かった。

冷蔵庫がない。水が2本あったが冷蔵庫が無いのが残念だった。

Took money and didn't allow us to stay due a narrow minded policy and single track minded staff. I have been short changed over 140 dollars due to this. Didn't allow a rebook or refund. Scammed.
