Bathroom was clean, modern and good shower
Room smelt musty. Breakfast was below standard, sausage wasn’t cooked inside, eggs were over cooked, bacon was tough. No milk on the table for the tea. Toast was thin as paper . Not worth €10 euro never mind €18. The room cost €169 for one night felt like I was ripped off. Left my phone charger in the room, went back for it within couple of hours and it was gone.
Location
Decor. Price
Location was great.Staff were very good .
For people like my wife who cant manage stairs these days ,the building has no lift.We had to change floors from a second floor room to a first floor room .There was very little compromise from the mng staff. The gf room was half the size
,and very clostrafobic ( The cost remained the same),The noise level in the street outside first thing with deliveries to other local premises woke us up both morning. It is a very dated building ,and I now find it hard to accept that the hotel was full as there is only a small car park and it was never full, and there were very few people for breakfast each morning. There were plenty of other acceptable rooms we could see which were unoccupied.
It would not be a hotel I will be returning to in the near future
La ubicación excelente y el personal lo mejor de lo mejor. El baño muy bien y el té y café de cortesía estupendo
Poca ventilación pq sólo tenía una ventana pequeña al interior. El suelo inclinado 😂. La moqueta nunca es bien
Great location great people
Stayed one night. Great location with easy access to everything Cork has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean. Couldn't really ask for more.
Nothing.
Friendly reception, parking, it’s a basic hotel in a good location.
No complaints with standard offered
We picked the Ashley for the location and it was a perfect fit for our travels. We had two wonderful pubs directly across the street. The live music in both pubs was authentic local and traditional. The hotel was comfortable, the upstairs lounge was a nice perk for evening drinks and conversation. The staff were phenomenal! Parking was convenient, we parked in the deck. The town was great fun and we walked everywhere.
I can't say there was much of anything that disappointed us.
Great location
Far too expensive for the room we had.
Clean and central.
No air conditioning and double room had very little floor space.
Staff were friendly and it was clean
It was like living in a hotel from 1910. Toilet moved when you sat on it, there was a bottle opener on the wall 😂. Decor was my nans grandparents choice. The wires were out of the walls and painted white lmao. I paid £400 for a £30 a night hotel and they obviously upped the price due to zach bryan playing. Walls were paper thin, someone could have farted in the next room and I’d question if it was me. Beds were really high, and me being 5 foot 9 I had to abseil off it. The whole place was really outdated, literally to the point where if Henry VIII was checking into it in reception I wouldn’t have batted an eyelid.
The location of the hotel was excellent. A real city centre location. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well
The decor was very out dated the the room was quite small as well. It says parking on website but there are only 7 small parking spaces. You will most likely need to use Carroll's quay car park so make sure to book it
The location was central to everywhere we needed to go. The room was comfortable and tidy.
The room was a bit stuffy, and the air conditioning wasn't very good.
Close to pubs and cafes. Friendly staff.
Stairs for luggage and the on-site parking is very limited. Enough room for about 8 cars.
Shampoo and shower gel would be a nice touch given the cost of stay
Very helpful staff
