Very clean and comfortable, and the staff were always on hand and helpful. Nice quiet location.
Its a gem of a property with the hotel and restaurant interspersed with trees and dappled sunlight. Its small, so there are no long walks and the staff are fantastic. I'm a seasoned world traveler with 'Gold for life' status at two international chains. It says a lot that I'll forgo those in favor of a boutique hotel.

Breakfast is good. Staff are attentive. Having dinner for inhouse guests only is a great idea. The bar is open all afternoon.

The food throughout our stay was amazing. The staff were the best. The location our little sanctuary from the madness of Johannesburg. This is a wonderful place to stay if you need quiet space, no crowds, immaculate service and gourmet food for less than a Holiday Inn in America

The calm and green environment. Breakfast was amazing, the room was comfortable and the staff were so attentive and kind.

The location was great for our visit to friends in Sandton. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed lunch in the leafy courtyard.
The pool feels overlooked and hadn't been cleaned in the morning, so we didn't fancy using it when we got there, which was a shame. The bed creaked, but was comfortable enough. At breakfast, the staff weren't as attentive as we'd have liked, as they seemed distracted by setting up for a large party for lunch. It wasn't clear from the staff what the breakfast offer included, e.g. self-serve area, ordering off menu.
