Bel hôtel très bien situé

Back to Where It All Began
Pros:

After so many years, I’m finally back at Grand Mercure — this time in a different role and with a different perspective.
The coffee still tastes as good as I remember, but the best part is definitely seeing some familiar faces again. Nga ABM, Thanh, Trâm… oh, such lovely people. ❤️
Some places you leave behind, but the memories and the people you met there somehow always stay with you.

Winter getaway 2026

What a fantastic Hotel. this is our second time back to this hotel for the entire month of July, to escape the cold weather of Victoria Australia. All the staff are fantastic, from check in to checkout. The rooms are great, very clean and spacious, we had a great time and will be back next year for a longer stay. A special thank you to the Concierge's Mrs. TRANG, Mr. DUNG and Mr. HUY. I cannot forget the Staff in the executive lounge, Miss NGOC (No G), THAO, HONG, LINH, QUYNH, NGAN and Mr. PHUOC, thank you so much for looking after us and I hope to see you all next year.

***Important Notice for Platinum Members Based on My Experience at This Hotel: Platinum members have to pay daily breakfast for their child(ren) with an extra cost.

I would like to share my experience at this hotel. This hotel does have their OWN SPECIAL POLICY regarding Accor platinum's free breakfast perk for Accor platinum members.

In our common sense, we do believe that the free breakfast perk should be included for all guests registered in the same room a platinum member stays. However, a front desk agent and their manager claimed that they have their own terms& conditions for free breakfast perk for child(ren) staying at the same room even registered. Being an accor platinum more than 5-6 years, this is the first time to encounter the hotel with their own special terms & conditions for the accor platinum perks.

Please make sure their special conditions and terms for the free breakfast perk if you are expecting the benefit.

Great hotel and staff
Pros:

Really good hotel and staff, always smiling and willing to help you with your needs, the food was really good at the restaurant, and the breakfast has plenty of options, and the bbq on Fridays is amazing! I recommend it 5 stars for me. The managers help me with all requests I had for them, special thanks to manager Mr. Jakie Ho and manager Mr. Dung that supported during all my stay.

Unforgettable Breakfast experience

The breakfast buffet at La Rive Gauche is hands down one of the best I have ever had! The selection is fantastic, featuring an amazing variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to every craving,have vegan food. What made the morning even better was the exceptional service from Mr Dung. He was extremely attentive, friendly. Thank you, Mr Dung, and thpe team at La Rive Gauche, for such a brilliant start to our day!
