Pros:

The location

Cons:

The stained sheets and chair, the lower door to outside was often left open and the instructions on how to unlock it didn't make sense. The staff were moving gravel outside my windows at 6.45am and woke me. There was no one at reception, it was locked up, at 7.55am so I had no one I could've talked with about the issues or checkout.

Fantastic stay.
Pros:

The people were very friendly and very helpful. Bed was super comfortable and the whole place was very clean.

Cons:

Nothing against the Inn but the construction in front on the street had me as a country bumpkin scratching my head a few times.

BROKEN, DEAD FIXTURES, APPLIANCES, AMMENITIES

Lassiez fair attitude of staff. Oven dead, microwave lights dead, chair in common area broke upon being seated on. Exterior door a PITA to enter. The entire attitude of the place is 'just barely good enough'.

The hot water was out one morning. I explained why it needed service, the response was null and void. They don't give a hoot about providing reasonable service.

1 of 3 lights working in lower bathroom. The room and bed were cheap clean and comfortable

I got what I paid for
Pros:

Decent location.
Good shower.
Decent size.
All the basics.
Generally it's value for money. I wouldn't want to stay more than a few nights but it did the job.

Cons:

Room could have been cleaner - there was an empty plastic water bottle in the bathroom and no towels on arrival.

Pros:

we chose this hotel/guesthouse because of it's location close to university hospital and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. No food close by, but just a short drive awaay

Cons:

the snow had not been cleaned after a snow storm a few days earlier and it was difficult getting around, car got stuck in the parking area
