Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. Guests can park their car in Täsch (garage parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. On request, guests can be picked up at Zermatt's train station or taxi stand (between 8 am and 8 pm). Please call the hotel upon arrival in Zermatt. Contact details can be found in the booking confirmation.

When booking a half board rate, guests sleeping in extra beds will be charged separately for the half board (in addition to the extra bed rate).Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Great hotel
Pros:

Great hotel, nice clean room, lovely staff and a cracking pool and leisure complex. Five minute walk from the train station but they do have a free shuttle. Boot room is also good.
It was the second time I’ve stayed there and was just as impressed the first time. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Best staff in Zermatt.
Pros:

The staff is unbelievable, top to bottom.
Everyone is incredibly good. You actually feel like they are happy you there.

Pool is huge.

And it's like 100 second walk to the first lift.

Superb
Pros:

We have just had our second stay three week stay in two years at the Christiania & it did not disappoint. We were given a very warm welcome back. The staff are all very attentive, pleasant & helpful. Our room had the most stunning Matterhorn view & was pristinely clean & well equipped. The breakfast choices are varied & great quality. Whilst we did not eat in the restuarant every night, as we choose to eat lunch in the mountain restaurants, the meals we had there were exceptional. In fact, my husband said the Chateaubriand was the best meal he had ever eaten in his life - he's 71 ! The spa/pool facilities are wonderful. We will definitely book again for next year,

Consistently Excellent — My Go-To Hotel in Zermatt
Pros:

Whenever I go to Zermatt, I always try to stay at the Christiania Hotel. It is a wonderful hotel with truly personalized attention from the entire staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming.

I would especially like to mention Kiri at the front desk, who is always incredibly kind and attentive. She takes care of every request with such warmth and professionalism that it really makes you feel at home.

I highly recommend this hotel. The spa area, the pool, and the saunas are a special treat after a long day of skiing. It is the perfect way to relax and recover.

The breakfast is also excellent — very complete and delicious. What I particularly appreciate is how personally they treat guests and how attentive they are to any special requests you might have.

I am very much looking forward to staying at Christiania again whenever I can take a couple of days off and return to Zermatt.

The Perfect Hotel Experience in a Perfect Ski Resort
Pros:

For more than three decades the Christiania Mountain & Spa has been our preferred host for a yearly ski trip to Zermatt. Its location (close to the Sunnega ski station), the cosy atmosphere, the superb service, great breakfasts, tasty dinners and the beautiful spa are all (and more) than one can wish for a perfect ski holiday. Kudos to the family Franzen!

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Spa and pool make a huge difference in the stay experience. Breakfast varietty while good, could be improved for a hotel of this standard.
