Doi Tung Lodge

Great hospitality staff and beautiful hotel. Our mountain view room was spectacular and worth paying for. Just amazing stay.

The room was clean and well appointed, nice shower and bed, so no complaints there. We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. The front desk closes at 8 and they are the ones that give out WiFi codes, (one per device) so ask for those early. The last order in the restaurant was at 6:30pm, way too early. We had to drive up the hill to the restaurant before going to our room. Not a bad stay just expecting a little more.

Great for an overnight trip from Chiang Rai, we went on a scooter approx 70 mins, we returned the more scenic way via mail chalong / Mai chan.. otherwise mostly expressway.
Doi tung is clean, tidy and very picturesque.. we visited auditorium/ garden with great views, 20 mins From Doi Tung..
The lodge is lovely too, amazing rooms, 5* and views / breakfast were nice too

This hotel is located in Doi Tung Palace area The atmosphere is peaceful amidst the nature. Medium-sized room that looks old outside, but the interior should have been renovated because it looks okay and very clean. The facilities are complete and good.h

Very nice and cozy decoration. From our room (mountain view), we can see scenic mountain ranges and lovely Aka village on the hills. Staffs have great service minds and are polite. Foods are also great and clean. Nice atmosphere overall. This resort is located near Doi Tung palace so it is very convenient to visit the nearby attractions.

We had a great time here and will definitely revisit.

ห้องน้ำระบายน้ำไม่ดีและมีกลิ่นถ้าแก้ได้จะดีมากครับ ส่วนอาหารเช้าดีทีเดียว

พนักงานน่ารักมากเลยค่ะ ห้องพักกว้างดี อาหารเช้าอร่อย ที่สำคัญราคาไม่แพง แถมอยู่ใจกลางเมืองเดินทางสะดวกมากเลยค่ะ

very helpful reception. free shuttle between lodge & garden was great!! great dinner and nice breakfast with nice view, very friendly staffs around.

กินข้าวเย็นที่ครัวตำหนัก แจ้งที่เคาเตอร์ check in ให้ขึ้นรับส่งทั้งขาไปขากลับได้ โดยรวมดีงาม เสียดายมีเวลาอยู่ไม่นาน

Probably the only one accommodation available right in the centre of the village, so it doesn’t come cheap. Rooms are indeed nice and modern looking with fast WiFi and decent selection of tv programmes (many international channels). View from dining area balcony is truly spectacular. There’s plenty of very small and almost undetectable mosquitoes, so take some repellent with you. Breakfast is very limited, we were served congee, bread, butter and jam only (plus coffee). There was no restaurant open on the premises at all, so for dinner you either have to go out or bring your own stock.

The hotel is Clean, tidy, good location nearattraction place.
Very recommend to visit in Chiengrai.
