Professional property host/manager
This is a quaint, small hotel close to St Sulpice church, shops, restaurants and pubs. The room was on the small side but comfortable, and the air conditioning cooled the room adequately. The elevator is extremely small, and only one person can go in it with their luggage. Otherwise, this property is very acceptable for its great location.
Spent $300 per night for a room with outdated furniture and in need of thorough cleaning and/or painting.
Well located but run down, 2 star standard
We loved our stay! Many steps to climb to our 6th floor room, so mobility is a must. Lovely narrow balcony with terrific views. Wonderful location, friendly snd helpful staff.
Great service, great view and excellent location
Overall the place is good and a good deal. It lacked the extra oomph of many places, but all was good. Room grew on me as I was in it. So all OK.
This is a great place to stay. Everything is within walking distande. If you want shopping it is there. If you want food it is there. If you want to just sit and have a beverage. It is all right here.
Quaint old fashioned hotel, situated in one of the best places in Paris: close to all city centre attractions and very close to the Metro. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Despite the lack of à decent lift, complimentary tea and coffee, I really liked the hotel and am very likely to come back.
Good location, helpful staff. Elevator in hotel is unbelievably small.
Clean and quiet and staff were attentive. Good hot water and shower However towels ran low towards end of stay, and a small instant Coffeea d tea machine in room would have been great Overall very good Loved the little desk with only 3.5 legs gave me good material for a stand up routine.
Great location for access to Notre Dame, latin quarter and metro stops.
The lift is truly tiny but that wasnt a problem.
Clean towels daily, clean rooms.
A very happy customer.
Great neighborhood! We’ll definitely stay there again.
Perfect placement for shopping, dining and exploring what Paris has to offer!
This was a great, quiet place to stay. Staff very courteous. We brought our own shampoo and soap, which was good since none was provided, other than hand soap .
Super close to metro and bus. Enjoyed our time there
Wonderful small hotel that I have stayed at many times and it has had some lovely updates..can’t go wrong for the 6éme and rooms with wonderful views of St. Sulpice.
Pretty convenient with a chunk of restaurants etc nearby, not a huge walk to Notre Dame and other scenery.
The room was not huge but not tiny. Bathroom was not cramped. Toilet, sink, shower all in one room which does not lock. Since it is on the inside there is no ventilation of the bathroom, like so many places. Bathroom and room appeared very well cleaned. Curtains darkened the room well; windows blocked a lot of the street noise. Employees were nice.
The Achilles heel is the lift (elevator). It is VERY shallow and the rear door accordions to the inside. Also not super wide. So if you or your luggage is very large that will be a problem.
Nothing
Wonderful location, excellent breakfast and cordial, helpful staff.
We had an urgent situation where our son needed to come to our room with us. The hotel clerk insisted that our son couldn't come to our room and said he would call the police. We brought him to our room to make a plan for him. The clerk then came to our room and insisted that our son leave. We asked if we could pay for him to stay for the night as his school dorm was closed and the hotel advertises that they accept extra guests in the room on a rollaway bed for 25 euros. We paid that fee, but were never offered a rollaway bed, sheets, or blankets for our son. He slept on the floor on our blankets. The next morning we took him to his dorm and let the day desk clerk know that our son was not staying at the hotel anymore. When we came back from dinner that night, our son was with us. As we walked into the hotel, the night clerk stood up and repeatedly yelled at us that our son couldn't come to our room. We showed our son's dorm card and explained that he wasn't staying with us anymore. During a 20 minute argument, the manager walked into the hotel. We explained that our son was not a guest and we showed his dorm card. The manager refunded the 25 euro fee we paid after we showed a picture of our son sleeping on the floor. He made excuses for the unprofessional staff, told us that we could call President Macron to complain, but he allowed our son to come to our room. We saw a rollaway bed in a closet 12 feet from our room that would have easily fit in our suite.
Although there was a mishap at the beginning of our trip, it all worked out. Thank you.
