The location
The staff, the uncomfortable bed, how cold the room was, the location of the room I think I was put in the worst room ever not sure why. No offer of an upgrade when arrived. No explanation of where anything was in the hotel except where my room was.
The room I was in I did not get no sleep due to vehicles continuously coming in out of the hotels car parking area. Noisy guests on my floor woke me up.
Breakfast staff were very nice. Happy to serve you. Cleaning staff also very friendly.
La piscine chauffée et sauna,jacuzzi etc très bien;
Just arrived back yesterday from this hotel , our first time staying in Portugal! And we loved it! we will definitely be back! The reception staff were extremely helpful, the only downfall was the bar didn't open to 4 o clock and no snack bar was opened. MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to Sam & Sham ! These men work so hard to make the guest feel so welcome they are a credit to the hotel and made are stay more enjoyable! Yeah boy!! From room 202 ! 😀
Brunch was nice
Improved space After room transfer due to safety concerns, sewage odor
Only hotel after traveling all over the world left early for few reasons, forfeited few nights of paid lodging
Just one young front dest agent was friendly others
Dismissed, diminished concerns, but accommodated relocation
Have been coming to albufeira for many years now always staying around the area where this hotel is located so when I decided to book a last minute relaxing trip I opted for this hotel… prior to arriving I had emailed the hotel to ask for a quiet sea/pool front room if it was available as was visiting outside spring/summer months and received a reply saying they will do their best to.. when I arrived and entered my hotel room I can only describe that I was being punished with a crime I had not committed!! Was like a dungeon: room was small dark with a weird smell. I asked to move rooms which I did but was charged an extra 45 euro. Room was abit bigger and brighter but still had that musty weird smell and very outdated.
I found the reception staff (2 males) to be very unwelcoming and honestly looked like they didn’t want to be there. Everything in this hotel seemed to be an inconvenience from the weak WiFi not really working in the room to old school charging connections: I found this hotel to be very stuck in the 70/80s vibes. Only good thing about this hotel for me was the friendly housekeeping staff.
Came to Portugal for my birthday, had a lovely experience in Brisa Sol the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms have all the basics and are very clean. The noise was not bad at all, we have stayed in other hotels around here that where quite noisy and this one was not at all bad.
Lovely hotel. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the whole place. Great location close to everything. Beds very comfortable and rooms well equipped with everything you need. The downside for us was that the bar doesn't open till 4pm and during our stay it rained all day very heavily and we only had the choice of braving the rain getting drenched or sit in our room or reception. Whilst I understand that during the summer months there is a snack bar for food and drinks, during the winter months the hotel provides no means of food and drinks on the premises acter breakfast until 4pm when the bar opens. Yes there is the lovely restaurant next door for food and drinks but personally I think it would be nice for the hotel to also provide options during out of season. You can't even buy a coffee unless you go next door. This is the only hotel we've ever stayed in where you can only have breakfast and have to go off premises for beverages after breakfast time, which is not ideal on a very dreary rainy day. We would come back but more in season. Seems very popular with older people in the winter months.
Albufeira itself is beautiful. Our first time in Portugal and it certainly won't be the last.
