Pros:

De locatie is echt goed. Hoewel niemand me vertelde rekening te houden met een wake up call van 7 tot 9 uur in de ochtend op het grote plein om de hoek met luide muziek vanaf podia voor de dag van jeugdbeweging.

Cons:

Minimale aankleding, vieze wasbak en toiletborstel, een douche waar alleen hele slanke mensen zich in kunnen vouwen en vooral heel veel schimmel rond de douche.

I like it
Pros:

The hotel is pleasant and it has all that is needed. Next to the cathedral, very nice location. Good breakfast.
It was a period, when hotels in Brussels were crowded and this was an affordable solution with easy daily access to Brussels.

Cons:

It is a bit far from the railway station. There is a bus not far from the hotel going to the railway station in few minutes, but the other way round be careful. It has a complicated routing, it is better to ask the driver first.

Convenient, central location, but nearby church bells disrupted early morning slumber.
Pros:

Convenient, central location in Mechelen. Good-sized single room with an en-suite and a comfortable bed. I was visiting friends and also attending Maanrock.

Cons:

The music from the Maanroock stages kept me awake until around 2 am. Though the central location of the hotel was convenient, it was also close to a church. The church bells were rung from 4 am and every hour, on the hour - at least that's what occurred on Sunday. The morning after my one-night stay. This disturbed my sleep a lot, as I was woken every hour.
