Don Raúl

This hotel is marvelous, beautiful and very relaxing. Very nice rooms, very nice staff. There are a lot of places to see near by. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The location was great, the atmosphere was very traditional and the room was always clean and tidy.

It was an amazing experience, both at the lodging and the restaurant. The entire service team was extraordinarily kind and courteous. Right away, we were welcomed by the lovely Day. She was impeccable in receiving us and taking care of everything all the time.

Great place to stay at San Pedro de Atacama. Located at the Main Street with friendly people, very helpful and always smiling. The facilities were great but most importantly the stuff was amazing! Definitely recommend!!

I was a bit skeptical about the lodging in general in San Pedro but hotel don Raul surpassed my expectations and made my trip a super experience. Atacama itself is amazing but having a nice clean place to arrive tiered after a day of tours is the best investment you can make don Raul offers that. Service in general in Chile is not the best we were lucky Raul host us he was amazing and made our experience great. The night staff and morning staff ehhh not so great they lack customer service skills

The location was very good, the hotel staff was very helpful. The room was small and Internet in the room wasn’t very good, but it was fine in the lounge area and by the restaurant where they had outlets and tables. The hotel also had a swimming pool although we didn’t use it. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely go back and I recommend the hotel.

Perfect location at the beginning of the main street but not noisy. Close to the restaurants shops and travel agencies. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, there is no issue they would not try to solve. Good restaurant at the side. Very bohemian atmosphere in the inside yard garden. Many relaxing nooks with a special decoration. Small pool, spa . Rooms with a/c, no problems with hot water. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom with shower, basic but very clean. Traveling a lot, I was really happy with my room. For an earliest trips when breakfast has to be skipped, staff setting room with basic coffee, cookies, oatmeal- something to grab before trip provider serve a breakfast. Raul at the front desk was the nicer and carrying service person I ever met at any hotel staff. I try to set up next trip to Atacama and Don Raul will be my choice of the hotel.

We loved this hotel. The rooms are clean and cosy. The grounds are perfect for relaxing with many seating options and shady areas.
The service is excellent as is the breakfast. The restaurant attached to the hotel served fabulous food and has vegan options. If I wasn't on a tour, I would have loved to have stayed longer.

Negatives: very small rooms and no WiFi in the rooms. You must go to the lobby if you want WiFi. There is need for improvement here, otherwise a nice place to stay.

The hotel is very basic but clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. Our room was located right behind the kitchen, so late at night and early in the morning we were woken up by noise. The room had very little ventilation; the window did not open, so we had to leave the door after showering and before going to bed. The toilet clogged a few times and had a slight smell. For the price charged per night, we expected better overall quality.

Very welcoming reception. Extraordinary Adobe compound, outdoor spaces beautifully curated. Very comfortable room with amenities. Spectacular buffet breakfast, both in presentation and taste. All staff exceptional, under the guidance of Pateicio, the Son Raul host.

Stayed here for two nights recently. I was very pleased with the accommodation, the breakfast was great and it wasn't too loud at night.

The highlight for us was the staff, they could not do enough for us, Raul and Philippe were incredibly helpful giving us tips on where to go, what to do and what not to do. They also helped organise a star gazing tour for us last minute which was great, also opening the car gates at all hours for us to take the rental car out and even helping us organise a last minute shuttle to the Calama airport when our Uber taxi failed. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Great location, fantastic and very picturesque interiors of the hotel itself. The room was extremely tiny - it’s good for just one person and a bag pack, but if you’re a couple with maybe two or more luggage’s, there’s no space and we were hitting into everything. The hotel pays attention to detail and cares - the breakfast was great, and the food always fresh. They also have safe - limited, car parking.

I loved every day we stayed at the hotel. The service was spectacular, the food is magnificent, and the room was very cozy and warm — we never felt cold. The bed is very comfortable, as are the pillows. I want to give a special compliment to all the hotel staff, who were always very helpful and polite. For us, is the best hotel in San Pedro!
