Bell Tower Hotel Xian

it is bit old. it needs upgrade. however it is sooo cheap and convenient.

This is the best location in Xi’an. I loved it. Terrific staff. I just wish there was instant coffee in the rooms - now there is only tea. But I had a wonderful stay - thank you.

Smelled musty when opened the door. Saw mold on the caulking in the bathroom.

The staff tried to serve two customer at the same time so we got really confused as to who they were giving the instruction to. I guess they're used to working at twice the normal speed but it just feels a bit rude to do that.

Otherwise the hotel is okay.

Location very strategic. Near metro station, bus shuttle and all places tourist should visit in Xi An in walking distance such as the oldest and biggest mosque in China, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quaters and shopping complex?

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It is steps from the bell tower, drum tower and Muslim quarter. There is so much to do and see right outside the door. It is a short walk to the city wall and the metro is right outside as well. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are in serious need of updating but the location made it worth while.

Great central location, busy area. Nice hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location over looking the Bell Tower & in the CBD. Lots of food shops nearby. The airport shuttle bus ends & starts just behind the hotel. There is a metro station across the road under the Bell tower. Room got serviced every day, complimentary bottles of water, big fluffy white towels, tea making kettle, TV with one English channel, & shampoos, conditioners, etc. Room was larger than normal with a nice sitting area.

In the city center, easy access to all tourist areas. Metro zhonglou on line line 2, exit c. Excellent bakery next door. Walking distance to bell tower, drum tower and muslim markets.

We were very happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was good, and really convenient for the subway and ease of getting around. The room was quite comfortable on the whole.
Our rooms were standard rooms, and they were kept clean by the room attendants, but the furniture was old and tatty, and the carpet needed a very obvious deep clean. The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were not up to international standard. The only items provided were two complimentary bottles of water on arrival, and two tea bags of a type that we wouldn't drink. The bar closed at 22.00hrs which is very early for people on holiday.

and is ideally priced. Staff were very helpful

off foyer. Great club sandwiches. Bkfast OK.

Beds are not very comfortable

Excellent location and nice view. The staff at the reception desk seemed very poorly informed, and could not locate either of two addresses we sought.

Water was shut off for an entire day. Staff did not inform guests until late in the day as to what the problem was. The hotel is very close to the Line 2 subway stop (use exit 2 or 3) which connects to Xian North High Speed Rail Station. There is an airport bus stop right behind the hotel offering service every 20 minutes for 25 RMB. Had breakfast. Few offerings for western menu.

Great location. Only problems is I got bitten by mosquitoes in my room.

Strategic location, just right next to the bell tower and in front of bell tower MRT station. Overall the building is very old and the room definitely need refurbishment. We arrived around 2am, the receptionist was sleeping and there wasn’t any hot water supply in the shower.
